On 13 October 2015, the meeting of the Republic’s Plant Construction Office of the Kazan Synthetic Rubber Plant – Silicone was held under the chairmanship of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.

On 12 October 2015, Kazan Helicopters presented laptops to the 14 graduates of the class of the Gymnasium No.8 supported by the company that entered the Kazan National Research Technological University.

In 2009, Kazan Helicopters launched the programme for career guidance among school students in order to create the conditions for informed choice of their future profession and to attract talented students to the aircraft industry. The idea of Kazan Helicopters was supported by Kazan National Research Technological University and Gymnasium No.8, Kazan. In 2014, the School No.54 of the Aviastroitelny District of Kazan joined the programme.

Development of interregional cooperation is a reliable tool for strengthening the strategic Russia-China relations. That was stated on 12 October 2015 by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov during the meeting between Deputy Chairman of the Russian Government Dmitry Rogozin, Vice Premier of the People's Republic of China Wang Yang and other top officials and executives of the Russian and Chinese regions and companies. The meeting was held within the 2nd China-Russia EXPO in Harbin (PRC).

Earlier Harbin International Conference Exhibition and Sports Centre hosted the opening ceremony of the Russian exposition. The presentation of the Tatarstan industrial potential, in particular demonstration of achievements and promising projects of the Kazan Helicopters, were held near the Tatarstan showcase.

 

On 11 October 2015, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov attended the meeting between Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Heilongjiang Province Governor Lu Hao.

The meeting was held within the working visit of the Tatarstan delegation headed by Rustam Minnikhanov to the city of Harbin (PRC). The main aim of the visit is to attend the Second China-Russia EXPO. During the meeting, the parties discussed the cooperation in various areas, such as trade, economy, education, tourism, culture, etc.

 

On 10 October 2015, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov being a member of the Tatarstan delegation headed by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov attended the meeting between Rustam Minnikhanov and Sichuan Province Governor Wei Hong within his working visit to the PRC. During discussions, the parties noted that the visit of the Tatarstan delegation will contribute to the enforcement of trade, economic and cultural cooperation between the two regions.

Rustam Minnikhanov noted that the last two years became especially dynamic for the development of relations between Tatarstan and China.

On 9 October 2015, the second regional preliminary round of the 3rd Republic’s TV Working Youth Creativity Festival ‘Nashe vremya – Beznen zaman’ started in Neftche Palace of Culture, Almetyevsk.

The final gala concert will be held on 31 October in Pyramida Cultural and Entertainment Complex, Kazan. The Grand Prix winner will get the winner's certificate, the Tatarstan President Challenge Cup and monetary prize in amount of 100 thousand roubles. The name of the winner of the festival will be given to the star in the Great Bear constellation of stars, which will be confirmed by the Roscosmos Russian Federal Space Agency certificate.

On 8 October 2015, the International Scientific and Applied Conference ‘Advanced Processing of Hydrocarbon Raw Materials in the Russian Federation’ started in Nizhnekamsk. It is coincided to the 10th anniversary of the project of TANECO oil-refinery complex.

The plenary meeting was attended by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov. He noted that the experts of the Republic of Tatarstan can build turnkey up-to-date oil-refinery and petrochemical manufactures that meet the global standards.

 

On 8 October 2015, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov attended the meeting between Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Vice President of General Electric company John G. Rice.

The parties discussed the issues of cooperation in the sphere of upgrading energy and social infrastructure of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Vice Chairman of GE John G. Rice noted that GE is proud to have an opportunity to assist in development and renovation of the Tatarstan infrastructure in the spheres in which GE has its unique technical expertise and experience.

The Republic of Tatarstan is one of the most successful regions to implement lean production. That was stated by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov on 6 October 2015 during the 2nd International Scientific and Applied Conference ‘Lean Production. Productivity Increase and Cost Saving’. The event was held on the territory of PAO Kamaz engine plant in Naberezhnye Chelny.

According to the Tatarstan President, the republic has an experience in training specialists on multisectoral implementation of the lean production techniques. He added that this course is already included in educational programmes of higher and vocational education institutions.

On 6 October 2015, PAO Kamaz engine plant in Naberezhnye Chelny hosted the 2nd International Scientific and Applied Conference ‘Lean Production. Productivity Increase and Cost Saving’.

The conference was attended by over 440 representatives of 18 economic regions of the Russian Federation (47 cities) and non-CIS countries (Germany and Japan).
