The Contest invited editorial teams from Tatarstan and bloggers for the best coverage of blue-collar and white-collar occupations. The writers have the opportunity to compete for the Grand Prix of 100,000 roubles. Deadline for submitting the applications is May 1, 2017.
The contest is held by the Kazan Helicopter Plant jointly with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Republic’s Agency for Press and Mass Communications Tatmedia.
The mission of the contest is to attract attention of the media and the blogosphere to the comprehensive coverage of personnel issues. The jury will select the most interesting papers that would contribute to the popularisation of blue-collar and white-collar occupations. Shaping a positive image of these professions would attract young people to the enterprise and would help improve the quality of training future personnel at primary and secondary vocational educations.
Tatarstan's foreign trade turnover in January to December 2016 amounted to US$ 3.5 billion. This was announced by the head of the Tatarstan customs, Major General of Customs Service Albert Mavlikov at a briefing in the Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers.
“In 2016, the foreign trade turnover of Tatarstan totalled 3 billion 520 million US dollars. This figure is 22 percent lower than in 2015. Since the turnover is measured in US dollars, there is no question of serious decline. There are several reasons for reducing the turnover, including the dollar exchange rate fluctuations. In the past year, Tatarstan customs recorded 995 exporters and importers of various goods”, said Mavlikov.
For reference: Businesses and organisations in the Republic of Tatarstan shall have the right to declare goods at any customs authority of the Eurasian Economic Union.
