In the period of 12 to 14 April 2011, the delegation of the Republic of India, headed by Shri Anil Trigunayat, Charge d'Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of India to the Russian Federation, is visiting the Republic of Tatarstan. In the course of the visit the parties discussed the follow-up and prospects of bilateral cooperation development.

On 26 April 2011, Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted a regional workshop/meeting with representatives of municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan on the issues of the implementation of the Federal Law "On Basics of State Regulation of Trade Activities in the Russian Federation".

On 25 April 2011, an agreement on trade and economic, scientific and technical, social and cultural cooperation was signed between the Republic of Tatarstan and the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug at the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan. Signatories to the document were Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the Republic of Tatarstan, and Dmitry Kobylkin, Governor of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
