In the period of 25 to 28 April 2011, Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov makes a working trip to the Republic of Turkey.

On 25 April 2011, Governor of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug Dmitry Kobylkin makes a working trip to the Republic of Tatarstan.

It the course of their visit to the Republic of Tatarstan in the period of 20-22 April 2011, the delegation of the Kurgan Region visited a number of Tatarstan enterprises implementing lean production technologies (OAO Gorbunov Kazan Aircraft Association, OAO Kazan Motor-Building Production Association, and OAO Kazankompressormash).

On 20-23 April 2011, Naberezhnye Chelny hosted the Second Beauty Festival Kamskie Berega. The Festival was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan, the leadership of the Executive Committee of Naberezhnye Chelny, United Russia party members, and the founders of the Nevskie Berega competition.

On 22 April 2011, ОАО Gorky Zelenodolsk Shipyard held a keel-laying ceremony of the new-generation project A145 high-speed passenger vessel (second in its series) and lead RST25 river-marine tanker.

On 21 April 2011, a regular meeting of the Interdepartmental Working Group for Implementation of Lean Production Technologies was held chaired by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Gulnara Akhmadeyeva. The meeting was attended by the delegation of the Kurgan Region headed by Vasiliy Begma, First Deputy Director and Head of the Industry, Science and Innovation Division of the Department for Industry, Transport, Communications and Energy of the Kurgan Region.

On 20 April 2011, Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov had a meeting with First Deputy Director General of The Russian Technologies State Corporation Aleksey Aleshin. The parties discussed the issues of cooperation development between the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade, industrial enterprises of the Republic and The Russian Technologies State Corporation.

On 21 April 2011, a visiting session of the Tatarstan State Council Committee for Economy, Investment and Entrepreneurship was held, the main question on the agenda being the progress in the implementation of the Republic’s Law on Innovation Activities.

On 19 April 2011, Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov had a meeting with Sergey Maksin, Head of JSC SPC Optical Systems and Technologies. Issues discussed during the meeting included current activities and development prospects of the Tatarstan enterprises incorporated into JSC SPC Optical Systems and Technologies.

On 18 April 2011, in the framework of the visit of the Czech Republic delegation to the Republic of Tatarstan, Korston Hotel & Mall Kazan hosted an opening ceremony of the Tatarstan-Czech Business Forum on “Cooperation Opportunities between Entrepreneurs of the Czech Republic and the Republic of Tatarstan”. The Forum was attended by Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic Martin Kocourek, Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to Russia Petr Kolář.

The mission of the Forum is the presentation of trade, economic and investment potential of Tatarstan and the Czech Republic, development of the further cooperation between the Czech Republic and the Republic of Tatarstan.
