On 21 June 2011, 2 p.m., the Ministry of Industry of Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan summed up the republic’s 2011 competition entitled “The Best Goods of the Republic of Tatarstan”. Following a ballot, the Organising Committee made a decision to award the title of the competition’s laureate and the winners of the 1st and 2nd degree. The laureates of the competition will be recommended for the nomination to the national-level 100 Best Goods of Russia Competition.

On 20 June 2011, the 3rd International Islamic Business and Finance Summit – KazanSummit 2011 – opened in Kazan.

On 16 June 2011, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Zaripov met with Vice-President of Corporate Affairs of Rautaruukki Martti Huttunen.

On 15 June 2011, the opening ceremony of two exhibitions took place at OAO Kazanskaya Yarmarka: 11th International Specialized Exhibition “Mechanical Engineering. Metalworking. Kazan” and 6th Specialized Exhibition “Technosvarka”. The events are attended by over 800 representatives of 130 companies from Russia and 13 countries of the world.

In the period of 14 to 15 June 2011, the delegation of the Sverdlovsk Region headed by Vice Chairman of the Government, Minister of Industry and Science of the Sverdlovsk Region Alexander Petrov, is making a working visit to the Republic of Tatarstan

On 14 June 2011, during the visit of the delegation of the Japanese Association for Trade with Russia and New Independent States (ROTOBO) to the Republic of Tatarstan, Mirage Hotel hosted a Japanese-Tatarstan conference on cooperation in the spheres of foreign trade and investment.

On 10 June 2011 at 2 p.m., OAO Kazankompressormash hosted a sectoral meeting of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan entitled “Lean Technologies: Cost Reduction and Optimisation of Business Processes”. The meeting was held together with the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Association of Enterprises and Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Tatarstan, executives of the Tatarstan organisations and educational institutions. The event was held with the participation of Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov and Director General of OAO Kazankompressormash Ibragim Khisameyev.

On 9 June 2011, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan held a meeting chaired by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Oleg Vlasov to discuss the targeted programme “Development of Trade, Public Catering and Consumer Services in the Republic of Tatarstan for 2011-2013” and summary of the Days of National Cuisine of Ethnic Groups Living in Tatarstan.

On 7 June 2011, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan held a meeting with the Polish delegation headed by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland to the Russian Federation Wojciech Zajaczkowski.
