Within the framework of the forum, parties considered the issues of SMEs development in Tatarstan, their participation in procurement procedures of Russian enterprises, antimonopoly policies in procurement activities, and the system of organising procurement activities in the nuclear industry.
On 26 February 2015, the delegation from Tatarstan headed by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov is visiting the Kurgan Oblast. The delegation from Tatarstan comprises Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Foodstuffs Marat Akhmetov, and top officials from Tatarstan ministries and agencies.
Within the framework of the visit, a meeting is planned between Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Kurgan Oblast Governor Aleksey Kokorin. During the meeting, it is scheduled to sign the Agreement between Tatarstan and Kurgan Oblast on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technologic, Social and Cultural Cooperation.
The extended meeting of the Council for Inter-Ethnic and Inter-Confessional Relations under the Tatarstan President took place on 25 February 2015.
The meeting was held in the videoconference format to cover all municipal districts of Tatarstan. The event was attended by Mikhail Fedotov, the Chairman of the Council for Civil Society and Human Rights under the Russian President and the Counsellor to the Russian President; Mintimer Shaimiev, the Tatarstan State Counsellor; Farit Mukhametshin, the Chairman of the Tatarstan State Council; Oleg Melnichenko, the Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the Russian President in the Volga Federal District; Ravil Zaripov, the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade; and other top officials of Tatarstan ministries and agencies.
OAO Tuimazinskiy Zavod Avtobetonovozov (Tuymazy Ready Mix Delivery Truck Plant), a subsidiary of OAO KamAZ in Bashkortostan, launched the full-scale production of mobile concrete plants of Granit 42 model.
A new production line for manufacturing the Granit series concrete plants was launched within the framework of the Tuimazinskiy Zavod Avtobetonovozov product line diversification.
The plant worked in close rapport with PAO Betonmash that has 60 year experience in the production of concrete mixing equipment.
On 23 February 2015, the official delegation from Russia headed by Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov and accompanied by Tatarstan President Rustam Minikhanov visited Abu Dhabi. Within the framework of the visit, the meeting was held between the members of the Russian delegation and Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates and Co-Chairman of Intergovernmental Russian and Emirates Committee on Trade, Economic and Technologic Cooperation.
Russia’s Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov is also the Co-Chairman of the Committee from the Russian side.
During the meeting, parties discussed issues of cooperation in the sphere of flight connections, manufacturing industry, and implementation of joint projects in various sectors of the economy.
Traditional areas of bilateral relations between Russia and Emirates were also discussed at the meeting.
On 19 February 2015, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade was awarded a Cup for Outstanding Achievements in implementing lean production policies in Tatarstan. The Cup was delivered by Yuriy Petrushin, Chairman of the Board of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Naberezhnye Chelny and Trans-Kama Region and the Principal of ANO Academy of Management.
Among the executives of major industrial enterprises who received an award for implementing lean technologies were Director General of OAO KamAZ Sergey Kogogin and Director General of OAO Tatneft Nail Maganov.
On 19 February 2015, the official opening ceremony of Kama Industrial Forum 2015 was held in Naberezhnye Chelny.
The opening ceremony of the jubilee forum was attended by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov and Head of the city’s Executive Committee Nail Magdeyev.
Within the framework of the event, the plenary meeting was held. The meeting was attended by Ravil Zaripov, the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade; Nail Magdeyev, the Head of the Naberezhnye Chelny Executive Committee; Rafinat Yarullin, the Deputy Director of OAO Tatneftekhiminvest Holding; Rustam Shamsutdinov, the Deputy Director General on Procurement of OAO KamAZ, representatives of OAO TAIF, OAO Tatneft, OAO Rosagroleasing, etc. The meeting took place in the Engineering Centre of the Kazan Federal University.
Rashat Fattakhov informed participants of the meeting about development results of the Tatarstan manufacturing industry and consumer market in 2014 and their main tasks for 2015.
During the meeting, parties discussed issues of cooperation between the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade and the ‘Businesswomen of Tatarstan’.
On 18 February 2015, the meeting with the top officials of Tatarstan Representative Offices in foreign countries and Russia’s constituent entities was held in the Ministry under the chairmanship of Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov.
The meeting was attended by officials from Tatarstan ministries and agencies, as well as by executives of a number of Tatarstan Trade Houses.
Ravil Zaripov analysed the performance of Tatarstan Representative Offices in 2014 and specified tasks for the Offices in foreign countries and in Russia’s constituent entities in the sphere of trade, economic, and investment cooperation.
During the meeting, parties also discussed urgent issues of activities of the Tatarstan Representative Offices.
On 18 February 2015, during her working trip to Tatarstan, Gulnaz Kadyrova, the Russian Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, took part in the Joint Meeting of Staffs of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Tatarstan Ministry of Economy dedicated to the ‘Results of Social and Economic Development of Tatarstan in 2014 and tasks for 2015’.
Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov took part in the Joint Staff Meeting as well.
During the Joint Staff Meeting, an Agreement on Cooperation was signed between the Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers and the Russian Foundation for Technology Development. The signatories to the document were Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov and Acting Director of the Russian Foundation for Technology Development Yevgeny Torkanovsky.
