On 18 February 2015, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov attended the Joint Meeting of Staffs of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Tatarstan Ministry of Economy. The meeting was dedicated to results of social and economic development of Tatarstan in 2014 and prospects for 2015.

Tatarstan Minister of Economy Artyom Zdunov and the Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov presented their keynote reports during the meeting.  

From 15 to 16 February 2015, the delegation from Tatarstan headed by President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Republic of Karelia.

Within the framework of the visit, a meeting was held between Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Head of Karelia Aleksandr Khudilaynen.

During the meeting, the parties signed the Protocol on Implementing the Agreement Between Tatarstan and Karelia on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technology, Social, and Cultural Cooperation.  

On 11 February 2015, Moscow saw the meeting of the Government Committee for Competition and Development of Small and Medium-Sized Businesses, chaired by Igor Shuvalov, the First Deputy Chairman of the Russian Government. The meeting was attended by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.

The members of the Committee considered the issues of competitive ability and development of small and medium-sized enterprises and support of SMEs under current economic conditions.

On 11 February 2015, the medals commemorating the “25th anniversary of completion of combat operations in Afghanistan’ were bestowed on the employees of OAO PA ELAZ, former Afghanistan combatants, during the official ceremony at OAO PA Elaz. The association currently employs 10 such combatants.

OAO Tatneft engineers have been declared the prize winners of the 15th All-Russian Contest ‘Engineer of the Year’. The contest is held annually by the Russian and International Unions of Scientific and Engineering Public Organisations involving the Academy of Engineering Sciences named after Aleksandr Prokhorov and Interregional Fund for the Promotion of Scientific and Technical Progress.

On 9 February 2015, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov chaired the meeting of the Tatarstan Economic Council. During the meeting, the attendees discussed anti-crisis responses. The meeting was attended by top officials of the ministries, agencies and the executives of the Tatarstan major industrial enterprises, as well as the heads of Tatarstan municipal districts.
The Tatarstan Economic Council jointly with the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade monitors the financial and economic indicators of the republic’s industrial enterprises on a daily basis.

On 10 February 2015, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov attended the meeting between Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Director General of Auchan in Russia Wilhelm Hubner.
Wilhelm Hubner briefed the attendees on the plans to develop French-based Auchan in Russia.
During the meeting, the parties discussed various issues of further development of Auchan chains in Tatarstan.

On 8 February 2015, the staff of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade participated in the All-Russian Mass Ski Race ‘Ski Track of Russia 2015’.
The race was held in 71 Russian regions. This year, mass ski races are dedicated to the opening anniversary of the Winter Olympic Games in Sochi.
In Tatarstan, over 171 thousand people participated in ‘Ski Track of Tatarstan 2015’.

On 7 February 2015, the Kazan Kremlin hosted the ceremony of giving credit to Kamaz Master Team for their victory in the International Dakar Rally 2015. The event was attended by the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov. He bestowed the Tatarstan state awards upon the team members.
The Tatarstan President awarded employees of Kamaz Autosport with Letters of Gratitude.

On 7 February 2015, Viktor Bondaryov, Colonel General and Commander-in-Chief of Russian Air Force visited OAO Tupolev during his working trip.
The Commander-in-Chief of Russian Air Force Viktor Bondaryov jointly with the executives of OAO Tupolev and top officials of the Department for State Defence Order from the Russian Ministry of Defence held the meeting relating to the issues of creating new aviation technology for Long Range Aviation for Russian Air Force.
