On 19 February 2016, the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted a meeting with the delegation from the Chelyabinsk Region. The meeting was attended by Minister of Economic Development of the Chelyabinsk Region Sergey Smolnikov, Tatarstan Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Rashat Fattakhov, top officials of structural subdivisions at the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade, and representatives of Chelyabinsk Region executive authorities.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged experience on the State support of industrial enterprises, development of foreign economic, interregional, exhibition and fair activities, and public procurement processes.

From 19 to 20 February 2016, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov is taking part in the events of the Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum.

The Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum is one of the Russia`s most reputable discussing platforms for business leaders, top officials, politicians, and NGOs. The Forum is organised by the Government of the Russian Federation and the Krasnoyarsk Krai Government.

The subject of the Forum 2016 is “Russia: Strategy 2030”. The mission of the Forum is preparing the proposals on the establishment of the working mechanism for Socio-Economic Development Strategy of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2030.

On 20 February 2016, in the framework of the Forum, Head of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov will make a presentation during the round table discussion on the topic of “Special Investment Contract in the Context of New Industrial Policies”.

On 18 February 2016, OAO Gorky Shipyard in Zelenodolsk hosted the official ceremony of laying down the third patrol ship Project 22160 designed by OAO Severnoye Design Bureau in St. Petersburg.

The event was attended by representatives of the Russian Ministry of Defence, the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade, OAO Ak Bars Holding Company, OAO Gorky Shipyard, Zelenodolsk Municipal District, AO Severnoye Design Bureau, and subcontracting organisations.

The event also included the ceremony of awarding the shipyard`s employees who had contributed to the construction and commissioning of ships for the Russian Navy with awards by the Russian Defence Ministry and the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade.

On 18 February 2016, within the framework of the working visit to Mamadysh Municipal District, Head of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov have visited the workwear clothing enterprise Mamadyshsky Promkombinat.

During the visit, the Tatarstan President and accompanying persons will took part in the official housing ceremony of a residential unit, and visit Mamadysh Vocational College No. 87.

The main purpose of the working visit is to participate in the final meeting of the District Council where the results of socio-economic development in 2015 will be announced and tasks for 2016 outlined.

On 17 February 2016, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov took part in the meeting between Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and top executives of the InfraONE investment company.

The meeting dealt with the discussion of a number of cooperation options being of interest for the republic.

InfraONE investment company (First Infrastructural Company) was established in 2011 by a group of experts enjoying extensive expertise in investment projects for various infrastructure sectors.

From 17 to 19 February 2016, the Chelyabinsk Region delegation headed by Minister of Economic Development of the Chelyabinsk Region Sergey Smolnikov is visiting the Republic of Tatarstan.

The delegation comprises of representatives of the Chelyabinsk Region executive authorities. The purpose of the visit is to study the expertise of the republic in the fields of strategic planning, investment and innovation development, and foreign trade.

Within the framework of the visit, the meetings are scheduled in the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Tatarstan Ministry of Economy. The delegation from the Chelyabinsk Region is to visit IT-Park and Special Economic Zone Alabuga.

On 16 February 2016, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, heads of ministries and agencies, and top executives of republic`s industrial enterprises took part in the final sessions of the Nizhnekamsk District and City Councils.

Rustam Minnikhanov requested to pay special attention to the development of small and medium-sized businesses. At the end of the meeting, Tatarstan President bestowed a number of State Awards of the Republic of Tatarstan.

On 16 February 2016, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited Nizhnekamsk Municipal District. During the visit, the President studied the activities of the Nizhnekamsk Petrochemical and Oil Refining College. He was accompanied by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education and Science Engel Fattakhov, and Head of Nizhnekamsk Municipal District and Mayor of Nizhnekamsk Aidar Metshin.

The guests were shown into the existing advanced laboratories and workshops. The total amount of RUB 29 million was allocated to equip the Resource Centre and to purchase new equipment for it, with TANECO and Nizhnekamskneftekhim contributing a lot to the Centre modernisation process.

On 16 February 2016, within the framework of the working visit to Tukaevsky Municipal District, Head of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov visited OOO TPK Kamsky Sapropel in Betki village.

They examined the production site of the enterprise, studied the work of the production line for mineral organic fertilizers and sapropel filler, lines for the production of feed additives, and visited a finished product warehouse.

On 15 February 2016, Nizhny Novgorod hosted the meeting on gas-engine machinery market development. The meeting was attended by Plenipotentiary Representative of Russia`s President in Volga Federal District Mikhail Babich, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Chairman of the Board of PAO Gazprom Alexey Miller, and other officials.

During the meeting, participants discussed the measures of state support of gas-engine machinery production and ways for stimulating its supply and demand.
