On June 30, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Head of Khakassia Viktor Zimin signed the Agreement on Trade and Economic, Scientific and Technology, Social and Cultural Cooperation between the Republic of Tatarstan and the Republic of Khakassia.
The ceremony took place within the programme of the working visit of the Tatarstan delegation to Khakassia.
Tatarstan and Khakassia have great potential for developing mutually beneficial cooperation, emphasized Rustam Minnikhanov. He added that the Agreement will be mapped out in detail and its action plan will be specified. In addition, there is an arrangement on the holding of events in the territories of Tatarstan and Khakassia that would contribute to the expansion of friendly ties between the republics.
On June 29, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov chaired a meeting of the Board of Directors of OAO Tatneftekhiminvest-holding. The meeting heard a draft concept of cooperation development between petrochemical sectors of Tatarstan and Bashkortostan.
The concept was developed at the request of both heads of the republics by Tatneftekhiminvest-holding and the Ministry of Industry and Innovation Policy of Bashkortostan. The project presentation was carried out by Director General of Tatneftekhiminvest-holding Rafinat Yarullin and Deputy Director General of Bashkortostan Development Corporation Denis Fomin.
Tatarstan President called for expanding cooperation between the two republics. "We have great expertise, including that in the construction of oil refineries, which we should sell", he said.
Rustam Minnikhanov gave instructions to map out the cooperation plan, to establish targeted working groups that should hold meetings at least once in a quarter.
On 28 June 2016, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with Park Ro-Byug, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea in the Russian Federation.
Rustam Minnikhanov expressed his confidence that the two-day visit to Kazan of the Ambassador and the Korean delegation`s was rich and interesting.
During the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov and Park Ro-Byug discussed promising sectors for the most fruitful cooperation between the Republic of Tatarstan and the Republic of Korea.
The sides noted high potential and good prospects for bilateral cooperation.
On June 28, the Ministry of Industry and Trade held a joint meeting between the Committee under the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade for Corruption Management and the Commission for Observance of Requirements to Professional Conduct of Public Civil Servants and Resolving of Conflicts of Interest.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Almaz Khusainov, representatives of the Tatarstan Presidential Office and the structural units of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The meeting considered the materials for the anti-corruption monitoring in 2015 and information on assessing the efficiency of implementing anti-corruption policies in the Republic of Tatarstan, and discussed the practice of disputes related to bringing civil servants to disciplinary responsibility for corruption offenses.
On 28 June 2016, the Tatarstan Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted a roundtable discussion between Tatarstan and Korean businessmen.
The meeting was attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to the Russian Federation Park Ro-Byug, Chairman of the Tatarstan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Shamil Ageev, Head of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minnullina, Tatarstan First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Ruslan Kabirov, and representatives of Korean and Tatarstan business communities.
During the roundtable meeting, the participants presented industrial and investment potential of Tatarstan and Korea and corresponding companies; after that, Tatarstan and Korean companies had B2B meetings.
On 27 June 2016, the Republic`s Agency for Press and Mass Communications Tatmedia held a press conference during which representatives of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade and Tatarstan Investment Development Agency told about the results of the working visit of the Tatarstan official delegation to South Korea and Mongolia.
The programme of the Tatarstan delegation’s visit to Korea was intense. Rustam Minnikhanov held a series of meetings with top officials of the Republic of Korea and top executives of the largest Korea-based industrial companies. In Korea, representatives of Tatarstan took part in the Korea-Tatarstan Business Forum.
During the visit of the Tatarstan delegation to Mongolia, representatives of Tatarstan headed by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met with the President and Prime Minister of Mongolia.
On 24 June 2016, Naberezhnye Chelny hosted the annual general meeting of shareholders of PAO KAMAZ (part of the state corporation Rostec). The event was attended by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Director General of GK Rostec Sergey Chemezov, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, top executives of PAO KAMAZ, and heads of ministries and agencies of the Republic of Tatarstan.
On 23 June 2016, Tatarstan cities Zelenodolsk, Bugulma, and Nizhnekamsk saw an official commissioning of three Gazprom CNG fueling stations. The event was attended by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of PAO Gazprom Viktor Zubkov, Tatarstan First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Ruslan Kabirov, members of the Board of PAO Gazprom, representatives of Tatarstan authorities, and key consumers of motor fuel.
Today, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with President of Mongolia Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj within his working visit to Ulaanbaatar.
The meeting was held at the Mongolian House of Government and was attended by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, Head of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina, and others.

Rustam Minnikhanov thanked for the meeting and noted that the main purpose of the visit of Tatarstan delegation to Mongolia was the expansion of trade, economic, investment, and humanitarian cooperation, as well as establishing new contacts.
The Head of the Mongolian Ministry of Industry praised the level of relations between Mongolia and Tatarstan. He noted that to date Mongolian leaders focuse on the development of the industrial sector.
