On the website Tvoya–Rossiya.rf (Your–Russia.rf), the Central Bank of the Russian Federation opened the first voting stage for choosing symbols for the new banknotes with the denomination of 200 and 2000 rubles.
The final results will be announced on 7 October 2016.

The Special Economic Zone Alabuga accounted for over a half of proceeds earned by Russian special economic zones. This was announced on 5 July 2016 by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov during his welcoming speech at the meeting dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the SEZ Alabuga and the results of its activities.

On 5 July 2016, sheet glass manufacturing plant ZAO Trakya Glass Rus located in the Special Economic Zone Alabuga was visited by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.

A conference hall of the administrative and business centre of the SEZ Alabuga hosted a meeting dedicated to the results of activities in the Special Economic Zone and prospects of its further development.
On 5 July 2016, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with business delegation headed by Deputy Director General of GK Rostec Dmitry Shugaev and President of Rohde & Schwarz (Germany) Christian Leicher. The delegation comprised representatives of the State Corporation Rostec and Rohde & Schwarz.
The meeting was held in the Tatarstan House of Government. It was attended by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, Aide to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Radik Gimatdinov, KFU Principal Ilshat Gafurov, and representatives of Tatarstan ministries and agencies.
During the meeting, the German side told Rustam Minnikhanov about prospects of cooperation with Kazan enterprises that are a part of Rostec.
On 4 July 2016, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov handed over the prizes to the winners of the International Contest “Best Services and Goods – GEMMA” in the Republic of Tatarstan.
Within the framework of the official ceremony held in the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade awarded top executives of the enterprises and organisations located in the Republic of Tatarstan that had won the International Contest “Best Services and Goods – GEMMA”.
On 4 July 2016, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited OAO Tatkhimfarmpreparaty where he examined a new production facility for sterile eye ointments, drops, non-sterile ointments for external use and gels, including installed equipment and automated lines for the production and packaging of products.
The Tatarstan President was accompanied by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, Tatarstan Minister of Economy Artem Zdunov, Director General of OAO Svyazinvestneftekhim Vladimir Sorokin, Principal of KFU Ilshat Gafurov, Principal of KSMU Alexey Sozinov, and others.
On 2 July 2016, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov took part in the meeting between Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Russian Federation Ron van Dartel. The meeting was held in the Governor`s House of the Kazan Kremlin, the working residence of the Tatarstan President.
During the meeting, Dutch Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ron van Dartel noted that he is always pleased to visit Tatarstan as one of the Russia`s regions where there are interesting projects including those in the field of innovations. He said Tatarstan and the Netherlands have to look for a new impetus to further cooperation.
On 1 July 2016, Kazan saw an awarding ceremony of Republic`s Journalist Award “Prestige of Working Professions and Engineering Specialities” within the framework of the 6th Regional and National Mass Media Forum under the aegis of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade and Tatmedia, the Republic`s Agency for Press and Mass Communications.
The ceremony was attended by State Advisor of the Republic of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, and Director General of Kazan Helicopters Vadim Ligay.
Albert Karimov congratulated the winners of the Republic`s Award on their deserved victory and wished them and all the participants of the media forum successful work and trust to their work from viewers and readers.
On 1 July 2016, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov chaired a videoconference meeting with the representative offices of the Republic of Tatarstan abroad and in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.
The meeting was attended by representatives of ministries, agencies, and public institutions of the republic.
In the course of the meeting, the participants discussed the results of activities of Tatarstan representative offices abroad and in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation for the H1 of 2016, the issues of current activities and future plans related to the development of trade, economic, and investment cooperation and work with compatriots.
The Republic of Tatarstan and the Republic of Tuva have a lot of opportunities for cooperation, said Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov on 1 July 2016 at the meeting with Acting Head of the Republic of Tuva Sholban Kara-ool. The meeting was held within the framework of the working visit of the Tatarstan delegation headed by Rustam Minnikhanov to Kyzyl (Tuva).
Sholban Kara-ool asked Tatarstan President for assistance in creating an airline connection between Kyzyl and Kazan.
Rustam Minnikhanov thanked Sholban Kara-ool for the high-level organisation of the visit of the Tatarstan delegation to the Republic of Tuva. Tatarstan President noted that Tuva, like Tatarstan, is a multinational republic.
