The International Industrial Trade Fair Innoprom-2016 in Yekaterinburg was attended by Tatarstan delegation headed by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov.

The event was also attended by Chairman of the Russian Government Dmitry Medvedev, Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov, top officials of the executive authorities in Russia`s regions, and representatives of business communities of the Russian Federation and foreign countries.

The Head of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade and representatives of the delegation are to take part in various events of the Trade Fair Innoprom-2016 suggested by its programme.

On 10 July 2016, International Rally Raid passed through Naberezhnye Chelny. In Avtograd, the home of the KAMAZ-Master Team, the “Silk Road” caravan was greeted by thousands of fans.

On 9 July 2016, the territory between the Kazan Arena Stadium and the Kazan Family Centre became the starting point of the race on the sandy ground at the bank of the Kazanka River.

The participants are to cross over 10 thousand kilometers through 15 cities in 3 countries.

On 8 July 2016, within the framework of the working trip to the Republic of Belarus, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov took part in the 4th meeting of Belarusian-Tatarstan working group on development of cooperation in supplies of raw materials and petrochemicals of Belarusian and Tatarstan enterprises.

From the Republic of Tatarstan, the meeting was attended by representatives of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade and leading enterprises of the petrochemical sector in Tatarstan, such as PAO Nizhnekamskneftekhim, Tatbelnefteproduct (subsidiary of PAO Tatneft), OOO NPP Tasma, OOO PD Tatneft-Alabuga Steklovolokno; from the Republic of Belarus the meeting was attended by representatives of Belneftekhim and top executives of such large Belarusian enterprises as OAO Naftan, OAO Belshina, OAO Grodno Azot, OAO Belarusian Metallurgical Plant, and others.

Albert Karimov noted that cooperation between Tatarstan and Belarusian partners is developing on a regular basis.

On 7 July 2016, during his working visit to Naberezhnye Chelny, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Kama Metalwork Plant TEMPO under construction.

He was accompanied by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, top executives of Naberezhnye Chelny, and other officials.

When commissioned, Kama Metalwork Plant TEMPO will provide jobs to 1,500 people.

On 7 July 2016, within the framework of his working visit to Naberezhnye Chelny, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and accompanying persons visited the plant for the production of agricultural and construction machinery CNH Industrial, where they examine the main production processes.

Further on, the Tatarstan President studied the activities of the CNH Industrial Training Centre. Rustam Minnikhanov and accompanying persons reviewed classrooms, library, workshops, and other premises.

On 7 July 2016, OOO Federal-Mogul plant manufacturing automotive components was visited by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov during his working trip to Naberezhnye Chelny. He was accompanied by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, Tatarstan Minister of Economy Artem Zdunov, First Deputy Director General of NPO Monocities Development Fund Sergey Karpov, Mayor of Naberezhnye Chelny Nail Magdeev, Director General of PAO KAMAZ Sergey Kogogin, Aide to the Tatarstan President Albert Nafigin, and others.

Rustam Minnikhanov and accompanying persons visited the production facilities of the plant.

Rustam Minnikhanov was presented a project of a new foundry line for the production of cylinder liner blanks for KAMAZ motor vehicles.

On 7 July 2016, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov took part in the meeting between Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to the Russian Federation Mohammad Wahid Supriyadi. The meeting was held at the Governor`s House in the Kazan Kremlin.

The Tatarstan President thanked the attendees for their proposals. He gave a suggestion to create a working group to study the issues of the participation in exhibitions and forums and gave a task to elaborate an issue of the town twinning of Kazan and Indonesian city Acheh. Rustam Minnikhanov also said that Tatarstan would take part in the Indonesian Festival in Moscow on 21-22 August 2016.

On 6 July 2016, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov chaired the meeting on the issues of organising and holding the International Specialised Exhibition “Aerospace Technologies, Advanced Materials, and Equipment” (AKTO-2016) in the Republic of Tatarstan.

The Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade informed that from 10 to 12 August 2016 Kazan is to host the 8th International Specialised Exhibition “Aerospace Technologies, Advanced Materials, and Equipment” (AKTO-2016) and the All-Russia Research and Practice Conference with the participation of international experts “Advanced Technologies, Materials, and Equipment of Russia’s Aerospace Industry”.

On 6 July 2016, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov took part in the meeting between Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Finland to the Russian Federation Hannu Himanen.

The meeting took place at the Tatarstan House of Government as a part of a two-day working visit of the Finnish delegation headed by Finnish Ambassador Hannu Himanen to Kazan (5-6 July 2016).

During the meeting, the sides discussed the issues of further mutually beneficial cooperation.

On 6 July 2016, the Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers hosted a briefing meeting during which representatives of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Tatarstan Ministry of Culture, and Tatarstan State Committee on Tourism reported about the results of the working visit of the Tatarstan delegation headed by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov to Khakassia and Tuva from 30 June to 1 July 2016.

The parties expressed their interest in the development of trade, economic, cultural, tourist, and educational ties. It was agreed to establish working groups for each field.
