From 10 to 12 August 2016, Kazan is hosting the 8th International Specialised Exhibition “AKTO-2016” and the All-Russia Research and Practice Conference “Advanced Technologies, Materials, and Equipment of Russia’s Aerospace Industry” under the auspices of Tatarstan top officials. The participants of events are international experts.

The organisers of the event are Rostec State Corporation, Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministries, Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade, aerospace enterprises of the republic, Kazan State Technical University, and OAO Kazanskaya Yarmarka.

Within the programme of AKTO-2016 it is scheduled to hold the meeting of the Coordination Council of Tatarstan Machine-Building Enterprises, contests of the open preliminary round of the Worldskills Russia Championship of Professional Proficiency in Aerospace Engineering Competency.

On 12 August 2016, Kurkachi airfield, which is located in Vysokogorsky District, will host the I Opt for the Sky Air Show. The mission of the show is to promote engineering professions among children and youth of the republic.

On 8 August 2016, Kazan hosted the Business Forum “Tatarstan-Japan: Investment Future”. The event was held within the visit of entrepreneurs from Japan to the Republic of Tatarstan.

The Business Forum was attended by Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, Special Advisor to the Prime Minister of Japan Eiichi Hasegawa, top officials of Tatarstan ministries and agencies, representatives of business communities of Tatarstan and Japan.

During the forum, the Tatarstan side presented the investment potential of the region to members of delegation from Japan.

During the forum, short representatives were made by representatives of SEZ Alabuga, PAO Nizhnekamskneftekhim and Ak Bars Bank.

On 4 August 2016, the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted the regular meeting of the Organising Committee on preparations to and holding the All-Russian Festival #VmesteYarche (Brighter Together) in Kazan with participation of representatives of the Kazan Executive Committee and other concerned ministries, agencies and organisations of the Republic of Tatarstan.

During the meeting, parties considered events to be included in the programme of holding the energy saving festival in Kazan, as well as the media plan to cover holding the festival in Kazan. The media plan was prepared by the Republic’s Agency for Press and Mass Communications “Tatmedia”.

Application process for participation in the 4th Annual Republic’s Working Youth Creativity TV Festival “Nashe Vremya – Beznen Zaman” supported by the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov has been started recently. Up to 12 September 2016, the Organising Committee will accept applications from Tatarstan enterprises and organisations of various sectors and forms of ownership. The opportunity to show their talents and feel like a TV star is given to working young people aged 18 to 35 years for whom the contest programme is not a profession.

On 29 July 2016, the Kazan Agro-Industrial Park hosted the opening ceremony of the Buy Tatarstan-Made Forum timed to coincide with the Salesperson Day. The official ceremony was attended by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, Chairman of the Committee on Ecology, Environmental Management, Agricultural and Food Policies of the Tatarstan State Council Takhir Khadeyev, Deputy of the Tatarstan State Council Kseniya Vladimirova, Head of the Tatarstan Gosalkogolinspektsiya (State Alcoholic Inspection of the Republic of Tatarstan) Igor Marchenko, and Director General of GUP National Trade Mark of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilsur Safiullin.

From 29 to 30 July 2016, Agroindustrial Park Kazan will host the Forum “Buy Tatarstan-Made” timed to coincide with the Salesperson Day.

During the Forum, degustation and purchase of products from republic`s producers will be organized.

Within the framework of the Forum “Buy Tatarstan-Made”, there will be a zonal phase of the 2nd Republic`s Festival and Contest “National Trade Mark of the Republic of Tatarstan”.

During the event, experts of Gosalkogolinspektsiya of the Republic of Tatarstan will consult on protection of consumer rights` issues.

On 25 July 2016, Tatarstan Acting Minister of Industry and Trade Ildar Mingaleyev met with the delegation headed by Sakhalin Oblast First Deputy Minister of Economic Development Andrey Rechkin.

During the meeting, the participants shared experience in industrial development, discussed issues of cooperation development with Tatarstan enterprises, including import substitution.

On 21 July 2016, the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted the meeting of the Organising Committee on preparations to the All-Russian Festival #VmesteYarche (Brighter Together). The meeting was attended by representatives of the Executive Committee of Kazan and other concerned Tatarstan ministries, agencies, and organisations.

During the meeting, the participants considered an issue on preparations to the festival in Kazan, listened to proposals from members of the Organising Committee on organising the events according to the programme and demonstration of energy saving technologies for people in Tatarstan. The meeting resulted in approving the plan of preparations to holding the energy saving festival in Kazan.
