On 19 August 2016, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov chaired the meeting on issues of activities of the Regional Industry Development Fund that was created in June 2016 on the basis of the Tatarstan Investment and Venture Fund, as well as its interaction with the Federal Industry Development Fund.
The meeting was attended by top officials and heads of departments from the Tatarstan Investment and Venture Fund and the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade.
On 19 August 2016, Laishevo hosted the plenary session of the republic’s august meeting of Tatarstan education and science workers dedicated to: “Effective System of Education in the Republic of Tatarstan: Growth Points and Development Options”.
The meeting was attended by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Russian Deputy Minister of Education and Science Yekaterina Tolstikova, Chairman of the Tatarstan State Council Farid Mukhametshin, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education and Science Engel Fattakhov, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education and Science Albert Karimov, deputies of the Russian State Duma, representatives of the Tatarstan State Council, top executives of enterprises, heads of municipal entities, top officials of executive committees of municipal entities, principals of higher educational institutions, principals of elementary and secondary vocational education, etc.
According to Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, special attention should be paid to the issues of vocational education.
He also emphasised that the outlook should correlate with municipal development programmes and tasks implemented by investors, as well as with the development strategy of the republic as a whole.
On 18 August 2016, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov participated in the meeting of the Supervisory Board of SEZ Alabuga. The meeting was chaired by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.
During the meeting, participants considered five new projects of potential residents. The total volume of investments is RUB 6.5 billion.
Members of the Supervisory Board approved all projects of potential residents. Further the projects will be considered by the Expert Council under the Russian Ministry of Economic Development.
On 18 August 2016, the Kazan Kremlin hosted a joint extended meeting between the Tatarstan Security Council, Coordination Meeting on Law and Order Insurance, Antiterrorism Commission in Tatarstan, and Tatarstan Anti-Corruption Effort Coordination Commission.
During the meeting, the participants considered issues of further development of video surveillance system in the republic within the Safe City Hardware and Software Complex, as well as issues of preservation and rational use of water biological resources of Tatarstan.
Mosgortrans, the main operator of land transport in Moscow, is carrying out tests of a Kamaz-6282 electric bus. A promising newly-designed product manufactured by PAO Kamaz will be tested on streets of Moscow during two months.
The tested Kamaz electric bus is adapted for handicapped individuals. A bus has a low level of floor and equipped with video cameras and satellite navigation. The total salon capacity is 85 passengers. Operational range after 20-minutes-charging is 100 kilometres. The maximum speed is 65 km/h. Accumulators are charged from a power grid of 380 volt. The main advantages of Kamaz-6282 electric bus compared to buses with internal combustion engines are its environmental friendliness, quietness, and operating economy.
On 16 August 2016, Kazan hosted the meeting between representatives of EPC Group (Germany), Chematur Group (Sweden), top officials of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade, and top executives of OAO TAIF and PAO Nizhnekamskneftekhim.
During the meeting, top executives of EPC Group presented information about new for Russia isocyanates’ production complex. These very facilities have been installed jointly with Chematur Group, the technology licenser.
The participants of the meeting discussed promising areas for cooperation.
On 16 August 2016, the Tatarstan House of Government hosted the meeting between Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and President of OOO Nanolek Vladimir Khristenko. The meeting was attended by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, Director General of Tatneftekhiminvest-holding Rafinat Yarullin, Director General of OAO Tatkhimfarmpreparaty Timur Khannanov, and representatives of the Tatarstan Ministry of Health and the Kazan Federal University.
During the meeting, parties discussed issues of possible implementation of joint research projects. According to Vladimir Khristenko, to date an issue of possible joint research projects is being discussed, including attraction of scientific institutions, such as the Kazan Federal University and the Arbuzov Institute of Organic and Physical Chemistry, for carrying out research.
On 16 August 2016, Ford Sollers plant in Naberezhnye Chelny manufactured the 10,000th EcoSport mini-SUV.
EcoSport is the first model to be manufactured at the updated Ford Sollers plant in Naberezhnye Chelny.
Since January 2016, EcoSport vehicles are equipped with 1.6 litre 122 HP Duratec engines, which are being manufactured at the new engine plant of Ford Sollers in Yelabuga.
From 7 to 9 September 2016, Kazan will host the Tatarstan Oil, Gas and Petrochemicals Forum under the auspices of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, Russian Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, and the Tatarstan Government.
The organisers of the forum are the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade, OAO Tatneftekhiminvest-holding, PAO Tatneft, OAO TAIF, ZAO Neftekonsortsium, the Tatarstan Academy of Sciences, and the Kazanskaya Yarmarka Exhibition Centre.
It is scheduled that Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov will participate in the Tatarstan Oil, Gas and Petrochemicals Forum.
Within the Tatarstan Oil, Gas and Petrochemicals Forum 2016, an ambitious business programme was elaborated.
It is scheduled to hold round table discussions on using petrochemicals produced in Tatarstan in capital and road construction, and round table discussions with participation of experts from petrochemical enterprises.
On 13 August 2016, within his working trip to the Aznakayevsky District, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated on the 85th Anniversary since the establishment of the Aznakayevsky District and the 65th Anniversary since the establishment of NGDU Aznakayevskneft.
The event, dedicated to remarkable dates, was held at the Yubileyny Stadium in Aznakayevo.
Rustam Minnikhanov addressed special words of gratitude to war veterans and retired workers thanks to whom we live in peace and prosperity now.
“Symbolically that both the 85th Anniversary since the establishment of the Aznakayevsky District and the 60th Anniversary since the establishment of NGDU Aznakayevskneft are being celebrated at the same day, the growth of the district is closely related to government activities”, said Rustam Minnikhanov.
According to the Tatarstan President, NGDU Aznakayevskneft implemented a number of innovations that were widely used at oil fields of Tatneft and other Russian oil producing companies and to date we pour in tributes to those who were at the root of establishing NGDU Aznakayevskneft.
