On 26 August 2016, the Tatarstan House of Government hosted a regular meeting of the Board of Directors of PAO Tatneft. The meeting was chaired by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.

During the meeting, participants considered results of budget performance of PAO Tatneft for 7 months of 2016 and approved the budget for September 2016, and discussed results of financial and economic activities of the company during the H1.

The Board of Directors has also considered a number of other issues regarding the activities of the company.

On 26 August 2016, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov bestowed State awards of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan to representatives of manufacturing industry, agriculture, science, and culture. Fifty six citizens of Tatarstan are among awardees.

The official ceremony was attended by Chief of Staff of the Tatarstan President Asgat Safarov, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Akhmetov, Tatarstan Minister of Culture Ayrat Sibagatullin and others.

On 25 August 2016, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov had a meeting with a delegation from executive authorities of Moscow headed by Prefect of Zelenograd Administrative District of Moscow Anatoly Smirnov.

The delegation from Moscow comprised Head of Troitsk Urban District in Moscow Vladimir Dudochkin, top executives of Moscow Agency of Innovations, Zelenograd Development Corporation, Troitsk Innovation Territorial Cluster, Zelenograd branch of Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as a number of enterprises (Tekhnovotum Scientific and Industrial Company, OAO Angstrem, AO PKK Milandr, and AO Doka Centre).

The meeting held in the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade was attended by representatives of Tatarstan enterprises, such as AO State Institute of Applied Optics, PAO Kamaz, AO Zelenodolsk Shipyard, Innovation and Technology Centre KNIAT, PAO Kazan Electrotechnical Plant, AO Kazan Giproniiaviaprom, and Tatarstan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Parties discussed promising areas of cooperation.

On 25 August 2016, Kazanskaya Yarmarka Exhibition Centre hosted the expert event of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade on development of light industry in Tatarstan.

The event was attended by representatives of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade, Tatarstan Union of Entrepreneurs of the Textile and Light Industry, Technology Platform “Textile and Light Industry”, and enterprises of Tatarstan light industry.

The meeting was held within the preparation to the annual final All-Russian Forum of Light Industry that will be held this year in Moscow from 24 to 25 November in Radisson Royal Congress Park.

On 23 August 2016, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov participated in the meeting between Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Head of Administration of Tambov Oblast Aleksandr Nikitin.

During the meeting, Tatarstan President emphasised that the republic is willing to have a constructive dialogue. To date, trade and economic turnover between the regions doesn’t exceed RUB 1.7 billion.

The delegation is interested in e-Government and People’s Control System. They are willing to study the system of supporting special economic zones, businesses, and industrial sites.

Tatarstan President noted that the republic is willing to study the experience of Tambov Oblast in region governance. In the nearest future the Tatarstan delegation will have a reciprocal visit to Tambov Oblast.

As a result of today’s meeting and in addition to the early signed Agreement on cooperation, parties intend to prepare a road map that will include main areas of trade, economic, cultural, educational, and scientific cooperation.

From 22 to 23 August 2016, the delegation from the South Moravian Region headed by its Governor Michal Hašek is having a working trip in Tatarstan.

The delegation from the Czech Republic was welcomed in the Kazan International Airport by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov.

On 22 August 2016, the meeting was held between the delegation from the Czech Republic headed by Governor of the South Moravian Region Michal Hašek and Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov. During the meeting, parties discussed topical issues of cooperation development in various spheres between Tatarstan and the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic.

Within the programme of the visit in Tatarstan, the Czech delegation will attend Technopolis Himgrad, AO KAPO-Komposit, Regional Engineering Centre of Medical Simulators “Medical Science Centre”, and Education Centre on Civil Defence and Emergencies of Tatarstan.

Czech delegation will learn about the tourism potential of Tatarstan and make tour of Innopolis.

From 22 to 27 August 2016, Naberezhnye Chelny is hosting the PROFdvizheniye 2016 Youth Career Guidance Forum that was organised by PAO Kamaz.

A large-scale career guidance meeting is being held on the basis of the major heavy-duty truck producer (PAO Kamaz) for the third time. This year, PROFdvizheniye Forum acquired an international status. The event is attended by over 200 students of higher and specialised secondary educational institutions from 39 Russian cities and CIS-countries.

On 22 August 2016, an opening ceremony of the Forum was held. It was attended by top officials of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade, Tatarstan Ministry of Education and Science, Executive Committee of Naberezhnye Chelny, and top executives of PAO Kamaz.

Within the Forum, it is scheduled to make tours of production facilities at PAO Kamaz.

In the end of the forum it is scheduled to sum up the results of individual and team competitions. The winners of individual and team competitions will be awarded with valuable gifts.

On 20 August 2016, Nizhnekamsk hosted official events dedicated to the 50th Anniversary of the city.

The official events were attended by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, Head of Nizhnekamsk District Aydar Metshin, top officials of Tatarstan ministries and agencies, long-service employees of the petrochemical sector and other honourable guests. The festive parade was livestreamed at the official website of the Tatarstan Government.

Tatarstan President has also thanked top officials, who used to govern the city and the district in various years.

At the end, Rustam Minnikhanov once again thanked the citizens with the festive date and expressed his confidence that Nizhnekamsk will continue to contribute significantly to collective success of the republic. After that he bestowed State awards of the Republic of Tatarstan to long-service employees of the petrochemical sector, as well as to honorary citizens, who participated in development of Nizhnekamsk and the petrochemical sector.

On 20 August 2016, within his working trip to Nizhnekamsk, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov participated in the official ceremony of commissioning the upgraded production facilities of linear alpha-olefins at PAO Nizhnekamskneftekhim.

He was accompanied by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, Director General of PAO Tatneft Nail Maganov, Director General of OAO TAIF Albert Shigabutdinov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of OAO Nizhnekamskneftekhim Vladimir Busygin, Head of Nizhnekamsk District Aydar Metshin, Assistant to the Tatarstan President Rinat Sabirov, and top officials of Tatarstan ministries and agencies.

Further Rustam Minnikhanov bestowed a number of State awards of the Republic of Tatarstan. After that he commissioned new production facilities.

On 19 August 2016, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov chaired the organisational meeting dedicated to holding the Tatarstan Oil, Gas and Petrochemicals Forum from 7 to 9 September 2016 in Kazan.

The organisers of the forum are the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade, OAO Tatneftekhiminvest-holding, PAO Tatneft, OAO TAIF, ZAO Neftekonsortsium, Tatarstan Academy of Sciences, and Kazanskaya Yarmarka Exhibition Centre.

It is scheduled that Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov will participate in the official opening ceremony and the programme of the forum.

Over 200 enterprises and organisations from Russian regions and foreign countries, such as Azerbaijan, Austria, Germany, India, China, Poland, Indonesia and other, will participate in the forum.

Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov emphasised that the Tatarstan Oil, Gas and Petrochemicals Forum is an important discussion platform on issues of developing Tatarstan and Russian petrochemical sector.
