On 1 September 2016, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov within his working trip to Nizhnekamsk made a tour of a number of enterprises incorporated into the tyre complex of PAO Tatneft.

Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov visited the production facilities of PAO Nizhnekamskshina, OOO Nizhnekamsk All-Steel Cord Tyre Plant, and AO Nizhnekamsk Industrial Carbon Plant. He studied the progress of the projects aimed at upgrading the production facilities and increasing competitiveness of their products.

During the meeting between Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov and top executives and representatives of the personnel from enterprises of the tyre complex of PAO Tatneft, participants discussed urgent issues of current activities and prospects for developing enterprises of the complex, including those in the social sphere.

On 1 September 2016, Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers hosted the regular meeting of the Board of Directors at OAO Generiruyushchaya (Generating) Company under the chairmanship of Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov. During the meeting, participants summarised the results of company’s activities for the H1 2016.

During the meeting, members of the Board of Directors also discussed issues of increasing reliability and fail safety at OAO Generiruyushchaya (Generating) Company. A number of equipment breakdowns were decreased from 42 in the H1 2015 to 27 during the H1 2016.

The company is preparing for the autumn-winter period 2016-2017. It is scheduled to repair and reconstruct 7 power boilers, 6 turbines, 2 generators, and heating system pipelines 82,459 metres long.

On 31 August 2016, the meeting was held between Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov and representatives of AO United Instrument Manufacturing Corporation (a part of Rostec State Corporation).

The meeting was attended by representatives of AO United Instrument Manufacturing Corporation. These are Deputy Director General of AO Moscow Radiotechnical Institute under the Russian Academy of Sciences Vitaly Pavlenko, Executive Director of AO Rybinsk Instrument Making Plant Oskar Gazizov, top officials of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade, and top executives of OAO Kazan Electropribor Plant.

During the meeting, participants considered issues of applying high technology and science-based products of AO Moscow Radiotechnical Institute under the Russian Academy of Sciences and AO Rybinsk Instrument Making Plant in various sectors of the Tatarstan economy, including medicine.

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov addressed to citizens of the Republic of Tatarstan on the Tatarstan Republic Day.

Dear friends! Citizens of the Republic of Tatarstan always had a strong team spirit. It let and still lets us to set the most ambitious tasks, solve them jointly and inventively with conviction and rush we have. This is what makes us strong and helps to look to the future positively.

On behalf of the State Council and the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan and on my personal behalf I wish you prosperity, welfare, fulfilment of your life plans, happiness, and optimism.

On 29 August 2016, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov presented the Letter of Gratitude by the Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers to Guzaliya Khasanova, the Head of the Department for Interregional Relations Development of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade for her long-term conscientious work and significant contribution to the development of interregional relations between the Republic of Tatarstan and regions of the Russian Federation.

On 29 August 2016, Kazan hosted the meeting between Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and members of the Global Shapers Community of the World Economic Forum. Participants of the meeting discussed prospects for development of Tatarstan and Russia, as well as trends of the contemporary global economy.

One of the topics to discuss was “Professions of the Future”. Shapers are convinced that the fourth industrial revolution is underway in quantum leaps and that is the reason why the conventional system of education is lagging behind in training proficient in skills.

On 27 August 2016, within his working trip to the Bavlinsky District, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov participated in the official event dedicated to the 70th Anniversary since the foundation of NGDU Bavlyneft and the City Day.

Rustam Minnikhanov forwarded special words of gratitude to retired oil workers and those, who were the pathfinders of the petroleum of Bavly. Tatarstan President honoured personally the most skilled organisers of the oil production.

He noted that to date NGDU Bavlyneft maintains leading positions in development of advanced methods in oil recovery.

Rustam Minnikhanov bestowed State awards of the Republic of Tatarstan to citizens of Bavly, who contributed significantly to the development of the city and the oil industry.

On 27 August 2016, Tatarstan President visited the Yutazinsky District. The Tatarstan Head made tour of the Solnechny community of the Urussu township. Tatarstan President congratulated 36 families from Urussu, who are moving (thanks to the republic’s programme) to new apartments from houses that are declared to be wreck, with their new homes.

Tatarstan President and his accompanying persons participated in the official event dedicated to the 25th Anniversary of the district. The event was held in the local culture centre.

28 August 2016 is the Miner's Day. Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov is congratulating labour veterans and workers of the republic’s mining industry with their professional holiday:

“Dear labour veterans and workers of the republic’s mining industry!

On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan I congratulate labour veterans and workers of the mining industry with their professional holiday.

Miners labour is in honour and highly commendable in the society. Miners’ activities require distinct human and professional qualities, such as endurance, self-possession, and fortitude.

I express my appreciation and gratitude to everybody who is working in mines, quarries, and at industrial sites, to all who are related to this strenuous and equally honourable profession of a miner.

On the day of your professional holiday I wish you and your loved ones health, well-being, festive spirit, new professional achievements, and success in implementing aspired plans!”

On 26 August 2016, the meeting of the Board of Directors of OAO Tatneftekhiminvest-holding was chaired by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov. The meeting was attended by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, Director General of OAO Tatneftekhiminvest-holding Rafinat Yarullin, and top executives of Tatarstan major petrochemical enterprises and a number of Russian companies.

Innovative solutions of a number of Tatarstan and Russian companies were introduced to participants of the meeting.

Information on the progress of preparation to the Tatarstan Oil, Gas and Petrochemicals Forum that will be held from 7 to 9 September 2016 was also discussed during the meeting of the Board of Directors.
