Since 2018, Russia has been implementing the National Project on Labour Productivity. The Regional Competence Centre in Labour Productivity (RCC of Tatarstan) coordinates the implementation of the national project in the republic.
Since July 2020, the Process Factory, a training production site certified by the Federal Competence Centre, has been operating on the basis of the RCC. The site provides face-to-face training, where RCC experts share their practical experience in applying lean production tools and optimising production processes.
Head of the Process Factory, Sergey Prishva, tells about training at the site: “For effective training, it is not enough to give only theoretical aspects of lean production application, you should prove the efficiency of these tools to an employee and teach him to see losses in production and eliminate them. Simulating real-world production in our Process Factory helps us take training results to a whole new level, not only by providing students with practical skills, but also by increasing employee involvement in improving labour productivity at their facilities”.
In 2020 and 2021 the RCC has carried out a lot of work on training at the Process Factory for employees of enterprises participating in the national project, representatives of executive authorities, and budget-funded educational institutions. As of late July 2021, more than 700 people have been trained.
