A ceremonial event dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the Kazan Instrument Engineering Design Bureau (KPKB) was held today in Kazan.
Since its inception in the late 1950s, the KPKB has been the country's leader for the development of primary transducers and their corresponding display facilities.
Despite the difficult economic conditions in the recent past, the key R&D competencies have now been fully restored in the design bureau. This was achieved, among other things, through reorganising the principles and methods of designing electronic devices and through recruiting employees with new skills in the field of circuit design and programming.
The company has carried out work on the development of competencies in the field of contract design and production based on digital technologies. A substantial upgrade of production capacities in the field of microelectronics and GIS has been implemented. The company celebrates its anniversary with a promising and dynamically developing design bureau.
From the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade, the event was attended by Deputy Minister Ildar Mingaleyev.
