Tatarstan delegation to take part in Russian Energy Week

The International Forum on Energy Efficiency and Energy Development titled “Russian Energy Week” will be held in Moscow and St. Petersburg from October 4 to 7. The delegation from the Republic of Tatarstan will also take part in the forum. It will be composed of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov, heads of Tatarstan enterprises, as well as representatives of ministries and agencies.

The Forum is expected to discuss the main challenges facing the energy sector of the Russia’s economy and the urgent problems in the development of gas industry, oil industry, coal industry, petrochemicals, electric power, energy conservation, and energy efficiency.

The Russian Energy Week will bring together industry leaders at the global communication platform, discuss current development trends, challenges faced by the present-day energy sector, and promote international cooperation in this area.

The Forum will be opened on October 4, 2017 by Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Energy for Global Growth plenary session.
