Today, the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted a meeting with representatives from Schülken Form Rus and industrial enterprises of Tatarstan.

The meeting was held in pursuance of the instructions by the Tatarstan President following his visit to Thuringia (Germany) on the establishment of interaction between the companies from Tatarstan and Germany.

At the meeting, Director General of Schülken Form Rus Maksim Anisimov made a presentation of the company and spoke in detail about the scope of its activities, as well as the benefits of mutual cooperation.

Schülken Form Rus is a plastic casting company, which is located on the territory of the Technopolis Himgrad. The company’s specialisation includes the manufacture of high-precision moulds, multi-cavity moulds with reduced cycle times, multi-component moulds for packaging, medical products, automotive components, electrical and electronic products. In addition, the company also provides services for the repair and maintenance of moulds and HRS (hot runner systems), equipment diagnostics and inspection, manufactures parts for moulds, and carries out computer modelling of the injection moulding process in the moulds directly on site.

At the end of the presentation, the participants to the meeting may communicate with the representative of Schülken Form Rus and ask questions.

Today, the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted a working meeting with representatives of Magnit, Head of Government Relations Department Alla Dyomina and Director of Kazan Branch Sergey Bodunov.

The main issue of the current meeting was the organisation and holding of a training workshop for potential Tatarstan product suppliers to the Magnit chain stores and conducting a Supplier Day based on its results.

The participants to the meeting discussed topics that may be included in the workshop agenda. These are, in particular, the peculiarities and main issues of supplier cooperation with Magnit, a green agenda (use of recycled materials, eco-products, installation of recycling kiosks for containers), and the company's digital business.

The organisational aspects of the planned event were also dealt with, including the event date, venue, and potential participants.

These issues are discussed in pursuance of the instructions by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov following his meeting with President and CEO of PAO Magnit Jan Dunning, which was held in June this year on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

 

 

On July 23, 2019, a delegation of top managers from the Novosibirsk power supply company visited Tatenergosbyt. The delegation was headed by First Deputy Director General of Novosibirskenergosbyt Dmitry Borovikov.

The main purpose of the visit was to study the activities of the Tatarstan’s guaranteed electricity supplier and exchange professional expertise.

During the meeting, the guests were introduced to the company's customer service office. Representatives of Tatenergosbyt told about the main areas of the company’s activities, about the specifics in the wholesale and retail markets, as well as about the e-services in the enterprise.

For instance, the company in 2017 realised the opportunity of signing energy supply contracts in electronic format and managed to transfer its corporate clients to 100% electronic interaction.

In continuation of the meeting, peers from Novosibirsk presented the work and services of their sales company. The parties were able to exchange experience and ask each other questions of interest that related to contract work, mutual settlements, and development of energy payment system for consumers.

Russian Helicopters Holding delivered a Mi-8MTV-1 helicopter manufactured by the Kazan Helicopters for the Republic of Tuva. This is the second helicopter delivered to the Tuva Airlines under the contract signed in 2018.

The Mi-8MTV-1 helicopter will be used in the region as part of a programme to improve transport accessibility in remote areas. The first helicopter, delivered to the customer ahead of time, is already carrying out tasks for its intended purpose. It was transferred on April 25, 2019.

Both Mi-8MTV-1 delivered for the Tuva Airlines are equipped with auxiliary power units, providing the function of an emergency source of electricity in the event of a generator failure. Helicopters are equipped with external cable suspensions, medevac and rescue equipment. In addition, Mi-8MTV-1 are equipped with 300-kg winches that are capable to carry out rescue operations.

The delivery of helicopters under this contract was made possible largely owing to the Agreement on Trade and Economic, Scientific and Technology, Social and Cultural Cooperation between Tuva and Tatarstan. The document was signed in Kyzyl in 2016 by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Head of the Republic of Tuva Sholban Kara-ool.

The Tuva Airlines specialises in cargo and passenger transportation. Its fleet is equipped with Mi-8 helicopters and compact aircraft.

In May 2019, Hankintatukku Oy signed an agreement with the PharmMedPolis of Tatarstan. Today, the first meeting with the company took place in the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade. The company has existed since 1982 and is currently exploring the potential of the Russian market for selling its own products. As a pilot project, they consider cooperation with the republic’s pharmaceutical medical cluster in order to sell products in Russia, starting from the territory of Tatarstan.

Hankintatukku develops, manufactures and markets food supplements in various categories such as basic vitamins and minerals, as well as products targeted to joint care, heart health, weight control, skin care, etc.

Hankintatukku’s pharmaceutical factory is located in pure natural surroundings in the town of Karkkila (Southern Finland) and its headquarters is located in Helsinki. Hankintatukku Oy is strongly orientated to exports and their products are currently represented in approximately 30 countries worldwide.

In addition to its own brands, Hankintatukku also manufactures private labels and does contract manufacturing.

Hankintatukku’s production process follows the guidelines of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) which have been defined for pharmaceutical factories.

The Chistopol Industrial Park was visited by representatives of republic’s sectoral ministries and agencies, major enterprises. The delegation examined the site in the industrial park allotted for the construction of a new plant, a natural gas liquefaction facility.

As part of the tour of the industrial site, an exemplary refuelling of a LNG-operated bus was demonstrated.

A Technopolis representative noted that advanced technology for the gas fuel introduction ensures significant savings for transport companies and are less dangerous for the environment.

During the discussions, the participants noted the advantages of the plant location in the Chistopol Industrial Park. Director General of Technopolis Himgrad Ayrat Gizzatullin noted that Chistopol is the geographical centre of the republic, which speaks of good logistics. In addition, an important role is played by the infrastructure that is created in the industrial park, which allows placing there a state-of-the-art and energy-intensive production facility without additional expenses.

Dear current and retired employees of the metal industry of Tatarstan! Please accept my sincere congratulations on your professional holiday, the Day of Metallurgist!

In the republic’s industrial sector, an important role is played by the metal industry, represented by enterprises that manufacture products in compliance with high international standards. Our metal companies operate across the entire republic: in Almetyevsk and Zelenodolsk, Naberezhnye Chelny, Kukmor and Kazan.

Tatarstan metallurgists are facing today serious and multifaceted tasks. These are the increase in labour productivity through the introduction of lean production tools, digital technology, and product diversification within the framework of the Increasing Labour Productivity and Supporting Employment national project.

On this holiday, I would also like to express my special gratitude to the industry’s long-service employees, whose invaluable experience is passed on from generation to generation. The traditions you have laid down – loyalty to your work, old-school training and skills – are in reliable hands today.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan held a meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission on Compiling a List of Regional Manufacturers that claim to sign an agreement on the implementation of corporate competitiveness improvement programmes (CCIP).

This support is carried out within the framework of the International Cooperation and Exports national project in accordance with the Resolution of the Russian Federation Government No. 191 of February 23, 2019 and aims to support republic’s export-oriented enterprises by increasing their competitiveness in global markets. Enterprises are granted subsidies from the federal budget for partial compensation of their interest rates on export credits and other similar funding instruments, as well as partial compensation of premiums under export credit insurance contracts.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Tatarstan Office of Federal Statistics Service, the Tatarstan Office of the Russian Federal Tax Service, and the Tatarstan Presidential Commissioner for Entrepreneurs’ Rights.

The participants reviewed the documents of the exporting enterprises submitting applications for participation in the selection under the CCIP mechanism. As a result, it was decided to include 11 enterprises of the first wave in the list of regional manufacturers claiming to sign an agreement on the implementation of CCIP.

This week, a delegation from the Tomsk Oblast is in Tatarstan on a business visit. The delegation includes representatives of several sectors: industrial, agricultural, social, cultural, as well as investment business.

Their rich working programme includes visits to ministries and agencies of Tatarstan and meetings with representatives of enterprises in various sectors of the economy.

On July 18, participants of the Tomsk delegation’s industrial sector arrived at the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade. They include members of the Tomsk Oblast administration, representatives of relevant universities and industrial enterprises (such as TEMZ, NIIPP, and NPF Mikran).

Within the framework of this visit, Tomsk industrialists met with representatives of relevant companies in Tatarstan, in particular, the Kazan Helicopters, the Almetyevsk Plant Radiopribor, the KRPC Helicopters-Mi, and the Kazan Electro-Technical Plant.

The participants of the Tomsk delegation presented the activities of their companies and universities, after which they discussed issues of potential cooperation with the industrial sector of Tatarstan.

Today, representatives of the Jewish Autonomous Oblast arrived at the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade with an official visit. The delegation includes Deputy Chairman of JAO Government Nikolay Kandelya, Chairman of the Tariff and Price Committee Galina Shlykova, and Director of Oblenergoremont Plus Aleksey Sysolyatin.

Welcoming the guests, Deputy Minister Almaz Khusainov noted that Tatarstan is always open for cooperation and is ready to provide assistance on any issues of interest.

The meeting was devoted to the exchange of experience in centralised procurement of fuel for housing and communal services and the energy sector, as well as the impact of this procurement on the tariff component.

According to Nikolai Kandelya: “The republic surprises with its breakthrough achievements; its level of influence on other regions of our country is very high. We are especially interested in your experience in creating technology parks. I believe that strong collaboration will bring us even closer together”.
