Today, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan hosted a meeting with the Turkish delegation of the BRB Holding.

Representatives of the BRB Holding arrived in Tatarstan with a two-day visit to present the capabilities of the holding and discuss potential cooperation.

BRB International BV is a company providing technology solutions with silicones, lube oil additives, and chemicals.

The parent company of the holding, Reform Spor Sistemleri Ltd. Sti., was founded in 1994 as a manufacturer of special flooring made of synthetic fibres and polyurethane granules for sports facilities.

To date, the BRB Holding incorporates 10 companies represented in such sectors as sports, construction, furniture industries, the production of elements for children's playgrounds, artificial floor coverings, as well as agriculture.

At the current meeting, the parties discussed the prospects of cooperation between the holding and the republic, as well as ways of funding the creation of sports facilities in Tatarstan.

On July 29, a delegation from Kyrgyzstan arrived in Tatarstan. The delegation includes Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Foods, and Land Reclamation of the Kyrgyz Republic Amangeldi Isaev and founder of Balykchy Alko Trade Rakhat Turgunbaev.

Today, the delegation visited the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan, where they met with Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov and representatives of Tatspirtprom.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the potential of mutually beneficial cooperation in a number of areas, in particular, in the alcohol industry. Amangeldi Isaev stated the need to study the market of production, sales, and supply of alcoholic beverages in Tatarstan.

When discussing this issue, Minister Karimov spoke about the measures in support of republic’s exporters, which are carried out within the framework of the International Cooperation and Exports national project.

Members of the Kyrgyz delegation were also interested in cooperation in the agricultural sector in such areas as the supply of agricultural products and fertilisers for agricultural purposes. In addition, during the dialogue, the parties raised the issue of joint work based on agro-industrial parks of Tatarstan.

An employee of the Kazan Helicopters (Russian Helicopters Holding, part of Rostec Group) Viktor Artamonov received a high award, the title of the Honoured Machine Builder of Tatarstan. The award ceremony took place in the Kazan Kremlin.

Viktor Artamonov was among 50 people invited to the republic’s award ceremony. Chairman of Tatarstan’s State Council Farid Mukhametshin thanked the awardees for their work, achievements, and contribution to the development of Tatarstan.

According to the Decree issued by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, the title “Honoured Machine Builder of Tatarstan” was awarded to Viktor Artamonov for his contribution to the development of the domestic helicopter industry and many years of fruitful work. Moreover, the honorary titles were conferred earlier to another four employees of the Kazan Helicopters.

Victor Artamonov came to the Kazan Helicopters immediately after his army service in 1978 as an electrical installer of aircraft. Since then, he has received several certificates of acknowledgement from the company’s management, has become an excellent quality worker, was conferred the title of the company’s Honoured Long-Service Worker and a Certificate of Honour from the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia. In addition, Viktor Artamonov was awarded the commemorative medal “25 Years of the End of Hostilities in Afghanistan”.

Last Saturday, a military-patriotic game titled “Patriots of Neftekhim” took place in Nizhnekamsk, dedicated to the 52nd anniversary of the first products manufactured by the enterprise. Although the contest is held only for the second time, it already became popular.

More than 100 employees of Nizhnekamskneftekhim and its subsidiaries took part in this contest. Twenty teams of five people each was formed for the game. They had to pass three trials: a tourism obstacle course, orienteering, and paintball.

The event’s opening ceremony was attended by the company’s top executives. Welcoming the contest participants, Director General of Nizhnekamskneftekhim Azat Bikmurzin noted: “Patriotism is honesty and justice. You need to be a patriot not only on the battlefields, but always and everywhere. We should protect and enhance the traditions of our state, be a patriot of our company. And now, on the eve of the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory, we must preserve the memory of the heroism of our grandfathers and great-grandfathers, continue the traditions that have developed over the centuries. I would like to wish all the participants to have a great pleasure from the contest, from the wonderful weather, and from communication with each other. To be one command, one family is our motto”.

Today, Deputy Minister German Lerner had a meeting with Nazarbek Samkhanov, representative of the Head of the Chechen Republic in Tatarstan. The best practices of the republic, in particular, the positive changes in the development of Tatarstan’s industry, arouses great interest in the business circles of the Chechen Republic.

At the meeting, the parties discussed events that would contribute to bring the business communities of the two regions closer together and to expand the bilateral business activities. The top priority areas for potential cooperation are industrial, tourist and cultural sectors of the economy.

The role of trade in the economy of Tatarstan could hardly be overestimated. In the structure of GDP, it accounts for 12.7%. More than 17,000 trade enterprises of various formats are involved in the republic’s trade industry, the number of employees is about 315,000.

Trade is one of the oldest and largest sectors of the world economy. Over the past decades, trade technologies have changed more than in the millennia of its existence. Every few years, new ways appear in the retail trade to interact with the buyer. Over time, the consumers have changed themselves, being more demanding about the quality of goods, assortment and service. Therefore, it is important to monitor trends in the industry and timely adjust business processes in these areas.

It is thanks to your work that the availability of goods increases every day, the quality of service improves, and the needs of customers are most fully satisfied.

Minister Karimov took part in the 16th meeting of the Mixed Intergovernmental Russian-Turkish Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation, co-chaired by Minister of Trade of the Republic of Turkey Ms. Ruhsar Pekcan and Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Aleksandr Novak.

During the Commission’s meeting, the parties discussed issues of trade and economic cooperation between Russia and Turkey and summed up the results of recent joint work.

On the sidelines of the Commission’s work, a Russian-Turkish business forum was organised, timed to the 20th session of the business councils of Russia and Turkey.

Within the framework of this event, meetings were also arranged with representatives of Turkish businesses, including that with top executives of TTAF. The company is engaged in the production of electrical connectors. The last meeting with them was held during the visit of the Turkish delegation to Tatarstan.

 

 

Over the past three years, enterprises in the industrial sector of the Bugulma District have increased their average annual output to RUB 17 billion. The industrial production index in the past three years has exceeded 100%.

The contribution of industrial enterprises in the gross product of the Bugulma District is about 30%. More than RUB 150 million of revenues to the local budget are provided by industrial enterprises, exports of which are estimated at 8.6% or RUB 1.5 billion. Among the enterprises that systematically increase their exports, NPO NTES should be noted, which was created 28 years ago.

Today, NPO NTES supplies products to Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Belarus, as well as to the territory of the Russian Federation. Devices designed to automate the oil production process are widely used for a number of years in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. The company boasts its highly qualified personnel.

More than 290 of its employees work in the Bugulma District, and the annual volume of work performed reaches an average of over RUB 800 million, which constitutes an annual contribution of up to 1.5% to the district’s gross product. In 2019, the company plans to expand the range of its equipment for accounting extracted hydrocarbons.

On October 5, 2019 a Youth Day will be held within the framework of the Russian Energy Week International Forum. Its organisers are the Russian Ministry of Energy, the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, the Russian Ministry of Education and Science, and the Government of Moscow.

Several thematic events are scheduled on the Youth Day site: interdepartmental meeting on raising awareness about the fuel and energy sector, energy saving, and engineering education among the country’s youth; the All-Russian Youth Meeting #VmesteYarche with the representatives of country’s major energy companies; a meeting to discuss the best practices of the #VmesteYarche festival activities.

Schoolchildren can see career-oriented events from energy companies and an exhibition of trades in the fuel and energy sector and engineering specialities from universities.

In addition, within the framework of the Youth Day, the final of the All-Russian #VmesteYarche festival competitions will be held: the flash mob competition and the song contest. The event will be culminated in a traditional no-tie meeting of participants with Russian Minister of Energy Aleksandr Novak.

At the end of the event, the final session of the “Energy of Youth Initiatives 2020” will be held to present the best projects and award the winners of youth competitions and projects in the fuel and energy sector implemented in 2019.

Nizhnekamskneftekhim held a tour for long-service workers and company’s youth work organisers, members of the city’s Council of Elders, and representatives of republic’s and city media outlets. The tour participants visited the Nizhnekamskneftekhim biological wastewater treatment plant.

Biological treatment facilities of Nizhnekamskneftekhim were built in 1966. For more than 50 years, the company has maintained them and invests heavily in their upgrade. To improve the quality of wastewater treatment, the company conducted the first phase of their reconstruction in 2016.

The tour began with the bar screen building. Director General Azat Bikmurzin spoke about the operations of this facility designed to receive and pre-clean municipal wastewater coming from Nizhnekamsk. Then the guests were shown the equipment that is used for effective wastewater treatment. Its difference from the former one is in absolute tightness.

The participants of the tour may also observe the active sludge operation in aero tanks and satisfy itself that the water, after passing through all the purification stages, meets all the requirements.

All participants were able to get answers to their questions and communicate personally with Director General of Nizhnekamskneftekhim Azat Bikmurzin.
