Today, Minister Karimov attended the opening of the 6th all-Russian summer vocational guidance forum titled “PROF Movement” to be held from August 19 to 23 at the Zvezdny Camp. The Forum was organised by KAMAZ with the support from the Tatarstan Government.

The PROF Movement Forum once again brought together students of colleges and universities throughout the country. More than 200 students of educational organisations came to Naberezhnye Chelny from Krasnodar, Volgograd, Kemerovo, and Saratov regions, Chuvashia and Tatarstan. The Forum was attended by Director General of KAMAZ Sergey Kogogin, directors of company’s units and divisions, as well as representatives from various ministries and agencies of Tatarstan. This year, the Forum is timed to coincide with the Year of Blue-Collar Jobs and the 50th anniversary of KAMAZ. The key topic of the event is “Product Quality through Process Quality”.

The goal of the PROF Movement is to tell young people about career opportunities in their respective regions. Participants will be able to visit the World-cafe, talk with KAMAZ top managers and representatives of ministries, listen to a lecture by Director of KAMAZ Quality Department Anton Saraykin, take part in business games, competitions, and much more.

Today, the Polymer Day industry event was held at the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan. Experts from the republic’s chemical industry discussed issues of exports and imports of polymer products.

Opening the meeting, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Aleksey Savelchev noted that the polymer materials industry is an important sector in Tatarstan, accounting for about 25% of the republic’s total industrial output.

The first issue on the agenda was the discussion of the potential participation of industrial enterprises from the republic in national projects supervised by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan. These include “International Cooperation and Exports” and “Labour Productivity and Employment Support”.

Representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan and the Tatarstan Centre for Energy Saving Technologies spoke about existing measures to support enterprises and the conditions for participation in national projects.

The second part of the Polymer Day programme was dedicated to the speeches of experts from sectoral ministries and companies.

The Polymer Day ended with presentations of invited companies. Nizhnekamskneftekhim, Grand Polymer, and Primo told the participants to the meeting about the activities of their enterprises in the polymer industry.

The I Opt for the Sky family holiday dedicated to the Day of the Russian Air Fleet took place at the site of the Kazan Family Centre on Sunday. The festival was held for the seventh time gathering about 30,000 people that include Kazan residents and guests, who are not indifferent to airplanes, flights and skies, current and retired employees of the aviation industry, professionals and students.

On the eve of the finals of the WorldSkills Kazan 2019, a ceremony was held at the festival to honour the WorldSkills official flag.

Demonstration flights of military aircraft TU-95, TU-160, TU-22MZ, and TU-214, general aircraft Stinson 108, Cessna 172, Farmer, Roland, Savannah, and helicopters Ansat, Mi-8, An-2, Yak-12, Bell 206B3 gathered the admiring glances of visitors. The Russia’s best parachutists performed accuracy landing jumps. By tradition, the air show featured the performance of the Rus aerobatic team. The pilots demonstrated complicated elements on Aero L-39 Albatros jet trainers.

The event was attended by acting Prime Minister of Tatarstan Rustam Nigmatullin, Long-Range Aviation Commander Sergey Kobylash, Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov, Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin, Chair of the WorldSkills Strategic Development Committee Jos de Goey, and other officials.

For the first time, two TU-214s manufactured by the Kazan Aviation Plant will fly at the I Opt for the Sky festival. This was announced today at a press conference by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Ildar Mingaleyev.

“This holiday was created specifically for the future generation of our aircraft manufacturers, for all young admirers of skies and flying equipment,” said Deputy Minister Mingaleyev.

According to Head of the Flight Service Department of Aviaprom Dmitry Voloshin, “flight safety and safety of spectators are the most important things for our flight group”.

The festival will also see the flights of rotorcrafts manufactured by the Kazan Helicopters of the Russian Helicopters Holding (part of the Rostec Corporation).

More than 25 aircraft will be involved in demonstration flights, including Ansat and Mi-8MTV-1 manufactured by the Kazan Helicopters. The pilots of the Mi-8MTV-1 are entrusted with an honorary mission to fly around the demonstration zone with the flag of the opening WorldSkills Kazan 2019 competitions.

The festival will be held on August 18 from 15:00 to 20:00 on the territory of the Kazan Family Centre.

Not only a spectacular flight show is expected during the festival, but also a career guidance alley, a biker show, and a concert.

Today, a festive event was held in honour of the 70th anniversary of the Experimental Design Bureau 294, the forbearer of NPO Shimko Radio Electronics.

The ceremony was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov, company’s Director General Ronis Sharipov, Head of the Soviet District Administration of Kazan Roman Fathutdinov, as well as company’s current and retired employees.

A congratulatory speech was made by Albert Karimov. He noted the invaluable contribution of NPO Radio Electronics in the development of manufacturing industry in Tatarstan, and congratulated the enterprise on a significant date. For the guests of the event, a concert programme was organised followed by an award ceremony for company’s employees.

The Experimental Design Bureau 294 was created at the Instrument Plant (now Radiopribor) on August 15, 1949 in accordance with the Decree of the USSR Council of Ministers for the development of aviation equipment.

To date, the Experimental Design Bureau 294 is called the V.I. Shimko Scientific and Production Association of Radio Electronics. Vladimir Shimko is the Minister of Radio Industry of the USSR (1987-1988, 1989-1991) and later, the President of the Radiocomplex Corporation. His name was given to the enterprise in 2000.

Today, an on-site meeting was held at the Invent Technopolis site with the participation of representatives from the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade and republic’s industrial enterprises, such as TAIF, Tatenergo, TANECO, Tatneft, KAMAZ, Tatarstan Grid Company, and KER Holding. The agenda included the issues of mutual cooperation between Invent Group and its potential partners, in particular, with companies of the Tatarstan’s energy sector.

For the guests, a tour was organised around the member companies of the group, such as Tatcable, Tatteploizolyatsiya and, Invent-Electro.

OOO Tatcable is a plant manufacturing cable and wire products. The company was commissioned in 2009. Tatcable produces cables with a very large construction length and a drum flange diameter of 4,500 mm, voltage up to 500 kV inclusive, with a cross-section of conductive wires of up to 2500 square mm.

OOO Tatteploizolyatsiya plant was built in 2008. The company produces pipes and fittings pre-insulated with PU foam with diameters of 32-1220 mm in outer protective sheaths made of LPPE or galvanised steel (pipe-in-pipe system).

OOO Invent-Electro opened in 2007 is one of the Russia’s largest manufacturers of electrical equipment. The plant produces energy-saving equipment, gas-insulated units, complete switchgears, other electrical devices, and metal products.

Representatives of Daqingneft, one of the China’s largest oil companies, have come to Tatneft for a three-day visit. The delegation includes Chang Fuquan, Representative Office Head of the China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) and Sun Longde, Director General of OOO Daqingneft.

Daqingneft is a subsidiary of CNPC engaged in developing one of the world’s largest Daqing oilfield, similar in its characteristics to the Romashkinskoye field of Tatneft.

In the first working day of the visit, on August 13, the guests discussed the issues of cooperation between oil industries of Tatarstan and China at a meeting with Rais Khisamov, Chief Geologist and Deputy Director General of Tatneft.

The visit programme of Daqingneft includes a visit to the Almetyevsk State Oil Institute and the Modelling Centre, as well as studying the advanced achievements of Tatarstan oil industry at the wells of the Elkhovneft Oil and Gas Production Division.

This Sunday, Minister Karimov arrived in Turkmenistan as a member of the Tatarstan delegation. The delegation headed by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov came to Turkmenbashi to participate in the First Caspian Economic Forum. The delegation includes representatives of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade, industrial enterprises, and related republic’s universities.

The Caspian Economic Forum takes place in the Avaza National Resort Zone and includes several events: an international conference, the Caspian Exhibition of Innovative Technologies, and the signing of treaties, agreements, and contracts.

The Tatarstan delegation attended “The Caspian Sea: Benefits of Strengthening International Economic Cooperation” conference. The next event in Turkmenistan was a visit to the Kiyanly Petrochemical Complex. At the close of the visit, the Tatarstan delegation toured the International Exhibition of Innovative Technology.

It is worth noting that several important cooperation agreements were signed on the sidelines of the Caspian Economic Forum with the participation of such enterprises as OPK Ak Bars, KER-Holding, KAMAZ, Turkmendenizderellary Agency, Balkan Shipbuilding and Repairing Plant, Turkmenhimiya, and others.

On July 23, 2019, by a decision of the Arbitration Court of the Republic of Tatarstan, OAO KZSK (Kazan Synthetic Rubber Plant) was declared bankrupt and bankruptcy proceedings were initiated against the company. The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan, jointly with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and enterprises interested in the supply of products by KZSK, are working on keeping its facilities in operation under bankruptcy administration, including that through the possible lend lease of its asset portfolio.

By virtue of the provisions of the Federal Law No. 127-FZ of October 26, 2002 “On Insolvency (Bankruptcy)”, the decision to maintain (continue) the production activities of the borrower is made by the general meeting of creditors.

Today, on August 9, a meeting of creditors took place in the KZSK plant management building (1 Lebedev Street). The issue of permitting production activities during the bankruptcy proceedings period was postponed until August 30, 2019 in order to work out a regulatory and legal basis for leasing out the KZSK production facilities to an interested investor.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan will continue to provide assistance in ensuring the work of OAO KZSK with the involvement of all concerned parties.
