Today, the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted a regular meeting of the Commission on Observance of Requirements to Professional Conduct of Public Civil Servants and Resolving of Conflicts of Interests.

Several issues were announced on the agenda. In particular, the results of the analysis of the information on incomes, expenditures, property and property-related liabilities submitted by the civil servants of the Ministry in 2018, as well as the review prepared by the Presidential Office of Tatarstan on anti-corruption policies based on the analysis of information presented by the government authorities of Tatarstan on the implementation of anti-corruption measures in 2018.

In anticipation of the upcoming visit of the Tatarstan’s government delegation to Belarus, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan hosted today a meeting of the Tatarstan-Belarus working group on bilateral cooperation.

The meeting was attended by representatives of major petrochemical enterprises of the two republics and was chaired by Deputy Minister Ildar Mingaleyev.

The parties made sure that they are on the same page about product supplies and mutually beneficial cooperation between such companies as Tatneft and Belarusneft, Nizhnekamskneftekhim and Belshina, Kvart and Mogilevkhimvolokno, and others.

The meeting of the working group was held as part of the Tatarstan Oil, Gas & Petrochemicals Forum’2019, which was attended by the industrial delegation from Belarus comprising more than 30 members.

The main areas of cooperation between Tatarstan and Belarus are engineering products, petrochemicals, and medicines. The foreign trade turnover between the two republics amounted to more than $260 million in the first half of 2019.

Today, a workshop on the topic “Energy Efficient Innovative Solutions and Technology for Energy and Manufacturing Industry” was held on the sidelines of the Tatarstan Oil, Gas & Petrochemicals Forum’2019. The event was organised by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan, jointly with the Tatarstan Centre for Energy Saving Technologies under the Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers.

Welcoming speech was delivered by Deputy Minister Almaz Khusainov. He noted that the main consumers of fuel and energy resources in Tatarstan are power generating facilities and industrial enterprises.

During the workshop, presentations were made by representatives of companies from Moscow, such as RusEnergoProekt, Schneider Electric, Heurtey Petrochem Rus, Karcher, HydroMetSnab, and New Solutions from St. Petersburg.

Speakers presented various projects of energy efficient, innovative solutions and technologies that are applicable to industrial production and power facilities.

The workshop was held in the format of a dialogue that was actively supported by representatives of enterprises and energy companies from Tatarstan, such as Kazanorgsintez, Nizhnekamsktekhuglerod, KER-Holding, Tatenergo, TGK-16, and others.

Minister of State of Turkmenistan and Chairman of the Turkmengaz State Concern Murad Archaev arrived in Kazan to attend the Tatarstan Oil, Gas & Petrochemicals Forum’2019.

On September 2, the Forum opening day, Murad Archaev attended the grand opening of the Tatarstan OG&P Forum, as well as the plenary session of the International Applied Science Conference entitled “Innovative Solutions for Effective Development of Petrochemical Industry”.

Today, the Minister of State of Turkmenistan arrived at the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan to take part in a working meeting with top managers of Tatneft.

During the meeting, Chief Geologist and Deputy Director General of Tatneft Rais Khisamov presented the main activities of the Tatneft Group, after which the parties discussed the opportunities of mutually beneficial cooperation.

Today, the Tatarstan Oil, Gas & Petrochemicals Forum hosted a plenary meeting of the International Applied Science Conference “Hydrocarbon and Mineral Raw Materials Potential of the Crystalline Basement”.

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov made a welcoming speech at the Conference. The Conference was chaired by Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov. Noting the importance of this event, the Minister said that “the Forum will become a key place for a constructive dialogue between top-level professionals, authoritative experts, and representatives of regional authorities, will provide a unique opportunity for a comprehensive discussion of complicated industry’s issues and the compiling of a list of practically useful recommendations”.

More than 100 reports on issues related to seeking reserves for replenishment of hydrocarbon resources were presented at the conference today. The reports were delivered by representatives of both foreign countries (Uzbekistan, Canada, etc.) and constituent entities of Russia (Moscow, St. Petersburg, etc.).

Later on, the Forum participants and guests will find an extensive programme: scientific and practical conferences on sensitive issues of the petrochemical industry, round table discussions, and workshops.

For more than a quarter century, Kazan annually becomes the capital of one of the largest international events in the petrochemical industry. Once again, the Tatarstan Oil, Gas & Petrochemicals Forum’2019 was opened today at the Kazanskaya Yarmarka Exhibition Centre. This year the event is timed to coincide with the 300th anniversary of the Federal Mining and Industrial Supervision Authority of Russia.

The Tatarstan OG&P Forum is a sectoral platform for business cooperation between enterprises both at the regional and international levels. This year, 180 companies from 31 regions of Russia and 23 foreign countries will take part in the event.

Traditionally, the Tatarstan Oil, Gas & Petrochemicals Forum’2019 brought together three major industry exhibitions, such as the 26th International Specialised Exhibition “Oil, Gas. Petrochemicals”, the 9th Specialised Exhibition “GEO-Kazan: Geologic Exploration. Survey. Mapping”, and the 5th International Specialised Exhibition “Interplastica Kazan”.

Today, on the sidelines of the Forum, SIBUR and Tatneft entered into an agreement of intent regarding petrochemical facilities in Togliatti. According to the document, the parties plan to sign an agreement on selling by SIBUR and, accordingly, buying by Tatneft some production and other assets in Tolyatti.

On August 2, 2019, laws were signed to upgrade the SPIC (special investment contract) mechanism.

This is an agreement between an investor and a public party (jointly the Russian Federation, a constituent entity of the Russian Federation, and a municipality) on the implementation of an investment project involving the creation or introduction of an advanced technology for organising mass production of industrial products.

The public party guarantees the stability of the business environment and the application of special support measures – tax incentives, subsidies, etc.

Today, the intersection of Kopylov and Pobezhimov streets saw the official opening ceremony of the monument in honour of the Hero of Socialist Labour of the USSR, former Director of the Gorbunov Kazan Aviation Plant, and Honoured Machine Builder of the Russian Federation Vitaly Kopylov.

The ceremony was attended by Presidential Envoy to the Volga Federal District Igor Komarov, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Long-Range Aviation Commander Lieutenant General Sergey Kobylash, and other officials.

Vitaly Kopylov made a great contribution to the development of the country's aviation industry. With his personal participation, the full-scale production of the Tu-160 strategic bomber and the IL-62 long-range aircraft were deployed, and important strategic tasks of ensuring the country’s security were completed.

At the initiative of Vitaly Kopylov, a lot of work has been done to improve the well-being and recreational activities of employees in the aviation industry. The factory annually commissioned up to 30,000 square metres of comfortable housing, established a house building factory, a school, and other social facilities.

Vitaly Kopylov was awarded numerous orders and medals, including two orders of Lenin, the orders of the October Revolution and the Red Banner of Labour.

Today, the UNICS Cultural and Sports Centre saw a lecture by Chairman and CEO of Haier Group Zhang Ruimin on new methods for managing present-day production processes using the example of the Haier Corporation.

There were no empty seats in the UNICS concert hall: university professors, students, employees of ministries and agencies, representatives of Tatarstan companies came to gain unique knowledge about the management system introduced by Mr. Zhang Ruimin.

New methods for managing present-day production processes – the RenDanHeYi model – are an integration of employee values ​​with the user values they create. Describing the RenDanHeYi management model, Mr. Zhang Ruimin said that the most important thing in the enterprise’s work is to give maximum freedom to each employee so that they have an opportunity to show their creative abilities. To implement this model, the Haier Corporation has achieved 3 zeros: zero distance from users, zero signatures in process, and zero delay in experience.

Mr. Zhang Ruimin also spoke about the COSMOPlat platform he created. The platform is a vehicle for promoting the Haier ecosystem brand.

At the end of the lecture, he presented a book by Cao Yangfeng “The Haier Model: Reinventing a Multinational Giant in the Network Era”, after which the students were able to ask questions about the specific features of the Haier Corporation and the management system implemented in it.

Today, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan hosted an introductory meeting with Turkish enterprises in the field of textiles, energy, and mechanical engineering.

Representatives of the companies presented their products and spoke about the activities of enterprises.

The invited Turkish manufacturers include such companies as:

  • Başyazıcıoğlu et ve et ürünleri is engaged in meat processing and the production of textile yarns;
  • Emre Ray Enerji ve İnşaat works in energy, construction, transport, communications sectors in the field of railway systems;
  • Öztürkler Un Sanayi produces flour from the highest grades of wheat, the capacity of flour production is 500 tonnes/day;
  • Merkon Makina is an automatic precast concrete plant, has fully and semi-automatic machines for concrete coating, machines for the production of concrete pipes of all diameters and shapes, as well as mixers and conveyor belts.
