Dear current and retired employees of the republic’s mining industry! On behalf of the Government of Tatarstan, I congratulate you on your professional holiday, the Miner’s Day!

Today, this professional holiday unites people of various professions: mine operators and machinists, workers, foremen, installers, representatives of mining dynasties.

By marking this day, we pay tribute to the people of special hardened temper and character who have devoted their professional activities to miners’ work demanding high endurance and devotion, and often, genuine courage and heroism.

My words of sincere gratitude go to the long-service employees. It was you who created a solid foundation for achievements today. Thank you for your selfless work, high results, invaluable experience, contribution to preserving best traditions of the industry, and bringing up a worthy new generation of young miners.

Your vocation is one of the toughest, involving risks to health and life. That is why it is a vocation chosen by strong, courageous, responsible, and reliable people. On this day, I would like to thank the current and retired employees of the mining industry and wish success, health, happiness and prosperity to them and they loved ones.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov has a meeting with representatives of Red_mad_robot.

The meeting held at the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan was attended by Head of Tatneftekhiminvest-Holding Rafinat Yarullin, Deputy Minister of Digital Development of Tatarstan Radik Gismyatov, and representatives of the Innopolis SEZ and Technopark Himgrad. Company’s representatives presented the IT-projects they had developed and successfully implemented for a number of large industrial enterprises.

Red_mad_robot is an IT company that develops and launches customised digital products for large corporations.

In 11 years, the company has grown to 700 employees located in 8 offices in Russia and abroad. The company has its own R&D and analytical centres.

Red_mad_robot’s main focus is digital products and services that simplify and improve customers’ lives. The company has its own analytical centre, R&D and QA departments, enabling the implementation of projects of any complexity: from research and design of future systems to direct implementation (mobile applications, websites with personal accounts, mobile workstations, chat bots and many others).

 Its subsidiary, Redmadrobot Innovations, is a resident of the Innopolis SEZ.

Russian Helicopters (part of Rostec Corporation) was visited by Russian Defence Minister Sergey Shoigu during his working trip to Kazan. The Defence Minister was accompanied by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.

The Tatarstan President and the Russian Defence Minister visited the aggregate assembly shop, the paint shop, and the main assembly shop. The guests were shown an upgraded version of the Mi-8MTV-5-1 helicopter in service with the Russian Army.

The company’s future plans include upgrade of the Mi-8/17 military transport helicopters. It is planned to improve the helicopters’ flight characteristics by using a new load-bearing system.

Sergey Shoigu was also informed about the production progress of one of the two Mi-38 helicopters previously ordered by the Russian Ministry of Defence. The contract to supply the rotorcrafts was signed during the Army 2021 International Military-Technical Forum.

Then, the Tatarstan President and the Russian Defence Minister had a meeting with Tatarstan’s participants in the contest entitled “Personnel for the Digital Industry. Creation of Completed Design and Development Solutions during Cyberdrome Contest”. In the contest, Tatarstan is represented by students of KNITU-KAI and the Innopolis University.

Russian Defence Minister Sergey Shoigu has arrived in Kazan on a working visit. At the Borisoglebskoye Airfield of the Gorbunov Kazan Aviation Plant (KAZ) the minister was welcomed by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.

The Head of the Russian military agency inspected the fulfilment of the State defence order by the Kazan Aviation Plant. He reviewed the programme for the upgrade of strategic (Tu-160) and long-range (Tu-22M3) aviation and the construction of new aircraft.

Accompanied by President Minnikhanov, Minister Shoigu inspected the Tu-160 strategic missile-carrying bomber and boarded the aircraft. Today, the enterprise is working to upgrade the airplane. The first flight of the upgraded Tu-160M took place in February 2020 and the flight of the Tu-160M with new engines took place in October of the same year. In March 2021, the missile carrier was handed over to the flight base of Tupolev to prepare for the next stage of flights, preliminary tests.

Then, the Tatarstan President and the Russian Defence Minister watched the flight of the deeply upgraded Tu-22M3M. Earlier, the long-range bomber successfully completed the first stage of preliminary tests.

Sergey Shoigu also inspected an exhibition of advanced unmanned aerial vehicles.

POZIS (part of Rostec Corporation) was named among Top 5 defence companies in the Leadership in Civil Markets national ranking. According to the results of 7 months of 2021, the share of civil products made by the company exceeded 45%.

The results of the second stage of the civil products national rating were presented by Promsvyazbank (PSB) and Innopraktika, a non-governmental development institute, as part of the Army 2021 International Military-Technical Forum. The prestigious award was presented by Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Military Russian Industrial Commission Oleg Bochkarev, PSB Chairman Pyotr Fradkov, and First Deputy Director General of Innopraktika Natalia Popova. The heads of organisations praised the systematic work of POZIS in implementing the Defence Industry Diversification Programme in the interests of national projects.

POZIS actively develops the diversification programme and for many years has been producing mainstream and civil products. Over 90% of its civil products are domestic, medical, and special purpose refrigerators. The enterprise is step-by-step implementing investment projects, upgrading production and reaching a new technology level, increasing output, and improving the quality of products. Today, its range of refrigeration products includes 115 basic models and 650 modifications. More than 20% of products are exported, including that to foreign countries.

A delegation from the Russian Ministry of Defence headed by Sergey Shoigu visited the Kazan Helicopters, part of Rostec Corporation, during their visit to Tatarstan. The Russian Defence Minister was shown an upgraded version of the Mi-8MTV-5-1 helicopter in service with the Russian Army. The upgraded rotorcraft, the Mi-8MTV-5M, meets the present-day requirements of the Army aviation.

Sergey Shoigu visited the aggregate assembly shop, the paint shop, and the main assembly shop. Managing Director of the Kazan Helicopters Aleksey Belykh reported to the Defence Minister on the completion of development work to improve the helicopter. The design documentation has been approved for serial production.

Import substitution work has been completed on the Mi-8MTV-5M helicopter, additional equipment has been installed to extend its functionality, and avionics equipment has been replaced with newest ones: a multifunctional display, digital autopilot, a latest communications suite, and a home-made TA-14 auxiliary power unit have been installed.

The Mi-8MTB-5M is capable of performing night group flights using night vision goggles, and its navigation and weather control systems are integrated into a single information field. The state-of-the-art communications suite is unified with all helicopters supplied to the Russian Ministry of Defence and provides data exchange functions between helicopters.

From 31 August to 2 September, Kazan will host one of the Russia’s largest events in the oil and gas industry, the Tatarstan Oil, Gas & Petrochemicals Forum 2021. This year, the event is dedicated to the Year of Science and Technology.

The Tatarstan OG&P Forum is supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation, the Tatarstan President, and the Government of Tatarstan.

The Forum’s organisers are the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Digital Development, IT and Communications of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing of Republic, the Ministry of Transport and Roads of Tatarstan, Tatneftekhiminvest Holding, the Tatarstan Academy of Sciences, the Kazanskaya Yarmarka Exhibition Centre, and the IEC Kazan Expo.

The Forum is an effective platform for expanding the boundaries of business cooperation between industry enterprises, both regionally and internationally, promoting present-day technology and equipment in Tatarstan, as well as exchanging ideas, receiving current information on the key topics of the industry and business meetings of the industrial and business community.

Teams from 35 Russian regions will compete for the right to take part in the Process Factory. Applications for the relevant competition track of the first Innovation and Productivity Cup were submitted by 74 enterprises of the Labour Productivity national project. From Tatarstan, three enterprises applied for the competition. These are Agrofirma ANYAK, Kazan State-Owned Gunpowder Plant, and Agrosila. Chelny-MPK. The event will take place in Yekaterinburg on October 25-29, 2021.

The organisers of the Innovation Cup are the Russian Ministry for Economic Development and WorldSkills Russia. The event is co-organised by the Federal Competence Centre in Labour Productivity (FCC).

Each team will be represented by 5 operators, 1 logistician, and 1 improvement manager. In 4 hours, Process Factory participants should build an efficient process using lean manufacturing tools, producing 10 products of the right quality within 20 minutes with maximum profit and minimum cost.

Enterprises will have to qualify based on process factories at Regional Competence Centres in Labour Productivity (RCC).  The timetable for the regional qualifying stages will be drawn up after the applications for the Cup have been checked. The results will be used to rank the teams, the best of which will be invited to the finals.

The first Innovation Cup will bring together over 200 participants and experts. The cases for the Cup have been developed based on challenges by experts from Rosatom, Roscosmos, and FCC.

Today, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov paid a working visit to the Tyulyachi District.

As part of the visit, he toured of the Tyulyachi Industrial Park and met with its residents; inspected the construction progress of a liquefied natural gas processing plant and opened the building of the Balandysh Rural Settlement Council.

The Tyulyachi Industrial Park was established in 2012 on an area of more than 36 hectares. Eleven residents operate in the industrial park, including such companies as Kryazh+ (processing and disposal of non-hazardous waste), Avangard-Stroy (production of metal doors and windows), LMR-Plast (production of other plastic articles), SK Polymer (production of plastic slabs, strips, pipes, and profiles), Sozidaniye (production of other rubber articles), Trade-K (production of other rubber articles), etc.

Construction of the liquefied gas processing facility with the capacity of 12,000 tonnes per year is intensively carried out on the territory of the Tyulyachi Municipal District. The investments into the project will amount to RUB 1 billion. The commissioning date is scheduled for Q4 of the current year.

Between January and June 2021, the Industrial Production Index in Tyulyachi Municipal District was 121.7%. The volume of shipped goods of own production amounted to RUB 1.6 billion in January-June 2021.

Today, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan German Lerner had a meeting with Managing Director of KazakhExport Export Insurance Company Kuanysh Mukazhanov.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation and shared their experience in implementing government support measures for export development.

Welcoming the guests, German Lerner pointed out that Kazakhstan has been among Top 7 partners of Tatarstan in terms of foreign trade for the last 5 years.

Despite the coronavirus pandemic and the introduction of restrictive measures in 2020, the trade turnover between Tatarstan and Kazakhstan increased by 14% compared to the figure for 2019 and amounted to US$ 630.8 million.

KazakhExport company is a State export insurance agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the main activities of which are to support exports and implement insurance tools to protect export operations. In March 2017, it was granted the status of a national company.
