74 businesses applied to participate in Process Factory

Teams from 35 Russian regions will compete for the right to take part in the Process Factory. Applications for the relevant competition track of the first Innovation and Productivity Cup were submitted by 74 enterprises of the Labour Productivity national project. From Tatarstan, three enterprises applied for the competition. These are Agrofirma ANYAK, Kazan State-Owned Gunpowder Plant, and Agrosila. Chelny-MPK. The event will take place in Yekaterinburg on October 25-29, 2021.

The organisers of the Innovation Cup are the Russian Ministry for Economic Development and WorldSkills Russia. The event is co-organised by the Federal Competence Centre in Labour Productivity (FCC).

Each team will be represented by 5 operators, 1 logistician, and 1 improvement manager. In 4 hours, Process Factory participants should build an efficient process using lean manufacturing tools, producing 10 products of the right quality within 20 minutes with maximum profit and minimum cost.

Enterprises will have to qualify based on process factories at Regional Competence Centres in Labour Productivity (RCC).  The timetable for the regional qualifying stages will be drawn up after the applications for the Cup have been checked. The results will be used to rank the teams, the best of which will be invited to the finals.

The first Innovation Cup will bring together over 200 participants and experts. The cases for the Cup have been developed based on challenges by experts from Rosatom, Roscosmos, and FCC.
