On November 7, 2008 in the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan a meeting was held between the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Mr. Linar Latypov and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey in the Russian Federation Mr. Halil Akinci.

15 October, 2008 the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexander Kogogin took part in the work of International Investment Forum Euromoney Kazan 2008, the aim of the forum was the discussion of the strategies for investment and innovation cooperation development, cooperation between the government and business circles under the conditions of economy globalization, as well as presentation of the Republic of Tatarstan to the representatives of international business circles.

6 October, 2008 the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexander Kogogin held the meeting with the delegation of representatives of business circles of Republic of Lithuania, headed by the Deputy Minister of Economy Gediminas Rynis.

24 September, 2008 the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexander Kogogin hold the meeting with the delegation of business circles of Islamic Republic of Iran. In the meeting took part the Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kazan Reza Baghban Kondori.

On 17 September 2008 the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan hosted a meeting of First Deputy Minister Vladimir Solovyev with the delegation of Sojitz Corporation (Japan) headed by President for Europe, Russia and CIS countries Kazuhiko Nakadjima.

On September 15 to 17, 2008 Minister of Industry and Trade Aleksandr Kogogin is visiting visit the Free State of Saxony (FRG) to attend the Day of Russian Industry Business Forum. The Minister will also take part in a number of business meetings.

On 15 September 2008, a meeting was held in the Ministry of Industry and Trade between Deputy Minister Linar Latypov and Head of International Trade and Investment Team under Maryland Department of Business and Economic Development Igor Evseev.

On 9 September 2008, a meeting was held between Deputy Minister Linar Latypov and delegation of the German business community representatives headed by Executive Director for Development of Economic and Technical Cooperation with East European Countries “Bridge to East Europe” Mr. Bernd Gross.

On September 9-11, 2008 German-Russian meetings concerning cooperation in Tatarstan will take place. FRG delegation is headed by Mr Bernd Gross, the executive director of association for development of economic and technologic cooperation with the countries of Eastern Europe, Bridge to Eastern Europe.

On September 4-5, 2008 the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Aleksandr Kogogin will take part in the III Russia-Japan investment forum held in Saint-Petersburg. He will make a presentation “Automobile cluster of the Republic of Tatarstan” at the round-table meeting “Investments to Russian automobile industry”.
