On February 19, 2009 in the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan a meeting was held with the delegation from Finland presented by Director for the Lahti Technopark Programmes Ms. Mari Pantsar-Kallio and Director for Ecological Cluster Project of the Lahti Technopark Mr. Salem Bonafa. The meeting was headed by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Mr. Linar Latypov.

On February 14, 2009 within the frameworks of the visit to the Republic of Tatarstan of the Turkish delegation a meeting was held between the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Mr. Aleksandr Kogogin and business community representatives of Turkey.

On February 14-15, 2009 within the frameworks of the state visit to the Russian Federation the delegation of the Republic of Turkey visited the Republic of Tatarstan. Turkish-Tatarstan Business Forum was held with the participation of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Mr. Mintimer Shaymiev and President of the Republic of Turkey His Excellency Mr. Abdullah Gul. The same day round table meetings were organized for the representatives of Tatarstan and Turkish business communities.

On 14-17 January, 2009 the visit of the delegation from the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Tatarstan will be held, headed by the Governor of East Azerbaijan province Mr. Alireza-Beigi. The delegation includes the representatives of business circles from Iran.

14 January 2009 a meeting of the Minister of Industry and Trade Alexander Kogogin and Director for development of Turkish company Kastamonu Entegre Mr. Onur Güven was held. The main aim of the visit of the businessman is to negotiate the establishment of the wood-processing production facilities in the Republic of Tatarstan.

On November 27, 2008 in the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan a meeting was held with the delegation of Irish businessmen headed by the Secretary of the Embassy of Ireland for Commercial issues in the Russian Federation Mr. Mike Hogan. The meeting was headed by the Deputy Minister Mr. Azat Ayupov.

On November 22, 2008 Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Mr. Linar Latypov took part in the meeting of the Prime-Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Mr. Rustam Minnikhanov with the representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of the Sudan.

On November 18-20, 2008 the Shandong delegation of People’s Republic of China, headed by Deputy Director General of Shandong Department for Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Mr. Liu Xiaojiang visited the Republic of Tatarstan.

On November 18-19, 2008 the representatives of Kuwait business circles headed by the Head of Agencies Division, Arab Center for Commerce and Real Estate W.L.L. Mr. Asif Aijaz visited the Republic of Tatarstan.

On November 17-18, 2008 the delegation of the Republic of Slovenia headed by the Director General of the Department for Foreign Economic Relations, Ministry of Economics of the Republic of Slovenia, Ms. Sabina Kolesha and the Trade representative of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Slovenia Mr. V. Dmitriev.
