On 31 January 2012 the Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov met with the employees of OAO Kazan Electrotechnical Plant. At the meeting the participants discussed the issues related to the results of the production and commercial operations of the enterprise in 2011, outlined the tasks for 2012 and development prospects of the enterprise. As part of his visit Ravil Zaripov familiarized himself with the reconstruction of the production facility, implementation of the Lean Production technologies, visited a number of production shops and also was acquainted with the recent developments. The meeting was attended by the representatives of the top management, trade union and employee’s committee of the enterprise, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as the Administration of the Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts in the Executive Committee of the Kazan Municipality.
On January 21, Russia’s Deputy Prime Minister Dmitriy Rogozin visited OAO Kazan Helicopters and OAO KAPO n.a. Gorbunov. The Deputy Prime Minister was accompanied by Tatarstan’s President Rustam Minnikhanov, Acting Prime Minister Ravil Muratov, Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, and the President of the Russian United Aircraft Corporation Mikhail Pogosyan.
On 19 January, the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade along with the Ministry of Agriculture and Foodstuff and X5 Retail Group organised and held a buying session entitled “New formats of cooperation between Tatarstan manufacturers and X5 Retail Group”. The event was attended by 100 manufacturers of the republic.
On 18 January 2012, the Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov met the delegation of the Lodz Voivodeship (Poland) headed by the voivode Mrs. Jolanta Helminska. At the meeting, the parties discussed the issues related to bilateral cooperation.
OAO Kazan Motor Production Association (OAO KMPO) plans an 18% increase of sales volume in 2012, by 6.5 billion of rubles as compared to 2011. Sales volume will be increased by output of new types of products, improvement of its consumer and ecological properties, cost saving, rise of profitability and labor efficiency. OAO KMPO expects to return some RUR 400 million of net profit in 2012.
On 11 January 2012 Tatarstan Acting President, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov visited OAO POZIS. The visit agenda included familiarization with the production of refrigerators (starting with die forming of the refrigerators’ bodies to their final assembly), exhibition of the plant products (variety of household and medical purpose refrigerators), discussion of the issues concerning current production and commercial operations of the enterprise and perspectives of OAO POZIS activity on production of civilian and special products.
