On 28 March 2012, the city of Naberezhnye Chelny hosted a training seminar for managers and experts of the city’s public catering and trade establishments. The seminar was organised by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan jointly with the Administration of Economic Development and Business Support of the Executive Committee of the city of Naberezhnye Chelny and Republic’s Certification Methodical Centre Test-Tatarstan. The seminar was attended by over 150 experts of the public catering and trade establishments of Naberezhnye Chelny.

On 27 March 2012 the Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov chaired the meeting of the working group on implementation of the Lean Production methodology. The meeting was attended by the representatives of various Tatarstan ministries, enterprises such as KAMAZ, ElAZ, Kazan Electrotechnical Plant; Naberezhnye Chelny and Trans-Kama Region Chamber of Commerce, Kazan Scientific Research Institute of Aviation Technologies, etc.
On 27 March 2012 the Kazan National Research Technical University named after Tupolev hosted a meeting of the Coordination Council with the participation of the Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov.
The meeting was attended by the Tatarstan Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade G.Akhmadeeva, Deputy Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Protection K.Tazetdinova, First Deputy Minister of Transport and Road Construction I.Khairullin, chief executives of the Tatarstan enterprises and educational institutions.
The meeting set sights on creation and realization of qualified personnel training process in a real sector of economy.

On 23 March this year Tatarstan Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Rashat Fattakhov held a meeting of the steering committee of the “Best Goods of Tatarstan 2012” contest.
The meeting was attended by top officials of a number of Tatarstan ministries and agencies including: the Ministry of Culture; the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Tourism; the Association of industrial enterprises and entrepreneurs, mass media and others.
In compliance with the resolution of the Tatarstan government dated 26.12.2003 the “Tatarstan Best Goods” contest is held annually within the programme “100 Best Goods of Russia”.

The session was attended by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Acting Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov. The Coordination Council session is organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, government of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan.
