On 23 July 2012 Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov met with the Polish delegation headed by Marshal of the Pomorskie Voivodeship (Republic of Poland) Mieczysław Struk.
In his welcoming speech Ravil Zaripov noted that Tatarstan-Poland cooperation develops drastically. Last December the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the city of Gdansk in Pomorskie Voivodeship. In 2011 the foreign trade turnover between Tatarstan and Poland exceeded USD 4 billion. Trade and economic cooperation of Tatarstan and Poland most rapidly develops in the sphere of chemical and petrochemical industries.
The meeting dealt with the promising areas of interregional cooperation in the sphere of automotive industry and automotive components manufacturing, as well as shipbuilding, energy industry, construction industry, agriculture, education, culture, innovative infrastructure and IT technologies development.

On 20 June 2012, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov chaired the meeting related to preparing and holding the 4th International Exhibition “Airspace Technologies, State-of-the-Art Materials and Equipment. Kazan 2012”, and Research and Applied Conference, aka “Modern Technologies, Materials, Equipment and Rapid Reproduction of Qualified Staff Personnel as the Key to Revival of Domestic Aircraft and Rocket Engineering”

On 18 - 19 July 2012, within the framework of the interregional cooperation the Republic of Tatarstan welcomes the executives and experts of innovative enterprises of Chelyabinskaya Oblast: FGUP Zavod Pribor and OOO Technopark Novator. The visit is primarily aimed at studying the experience of the Republic of Tatarstan in developing innovations and innovation infrastructure. During their working trip on 18 July, the delegation met with the top executives of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade. The guests visited GUP Centre of Information Technologies of the Republic of Tatarstan, IT Park, Innovation and Technology Center KNIAT in Kazan. On 19 July, it is scheduled to visit OOO PKF BETAR in the city of Chistopol and IT Park in Naberezhnye Chelny.

Based on the results of the Golden Mercury National Award in the sphere of the entrepreneurship, OAO Kazan Helicopter Plant was recognized the winner in the category Best Exporting Company in the Field of Industrial Production. This contest is aimed to promote entrepreneurship in Russia, to provide the entrepreneurs and exporting companies with an opportunity of presenting their best products and services, advanced domestic business models as well as to promote the idea of social responsibility of business, strengthening the traditions of Russian entrepreneurship and the development of respectful public attitude towards business.

On 17 July 2012, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov met with the delegation of Kaliningradskaya Oblast headed by Minister for Industrial Policy, Development of Entrepreneurship and Trade of Kaliningradskaya Oblast Dmitriy Chemakin.
The meeting dealt with promising areas of inter-regional cooperation in various spheres.
Within the framework of the visit, representatives of the delegation will also visit Tatarstan Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Information and Communications of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Agency for Government Contracts, Investment Activities and Interregional Relations, Innovative Technopark Idea, Technopolis Himgrad, and IT Park.

On 14 July 2012 Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov complimented the guests and participants of the kryashen culture holiday Pitrau which was held in the Zyuri village of Mamadyshskiy District. The festive events were attended by representatives of the Republic of Tatarstan, Udmurtia and Chelyabinskaya Oblast.

Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov is paying compliments to the veterans and workers of the metallurgical industry congratulating them with their professional holiday, the Day of Metallurgist.

On 12 July 2012, the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade held a meeting of the Interdepartmental Working Group for considering and appraisal of investment projects and applications of organisations performing restructuring and upgrade of their operations. The meeting of the Interdepartmental Working Group, having considered the projects on employees’ advancing vocational training of in 2012, approved the investment projects of the following enterprises and organisations: OAO Zelenodolsk Gorky, OAO Radiopribor, OAO PO Sergo Plant, ZAO Kvart, OAO Nefis Cosmetics, OAO Kazan Synthetic Rubber Plant and GAUZ Republic’s Clinical Hospital No.2.

On 12 June 2012, Silk Way Rally 2012 came to an end in Maykop (Krasnodarskiy Kray). As a result, the participating crews covered 3500 kilometres. The crew headed by Ayrat Mardeev pulled off a convincing victory. According to the results of the rally, the Peter Versluis’s crew ranked second on MAN truck. Anton Shibalov turned out to be the third with his KamAZ crew. KamAZ-MASTER team from Naberezhneye Chelny was represented by the crews headed by pilots Eduard Nikolaev, Ayrat Mardeev, Anton Shibalov, Dmitriy Sotnikov, and Sergey Kupriyanov.
