On 5 to 7 December 2012, the delegation of Arkhangelskaya Oblast headed by the Governor of Arkhangelskaya Oblast Igor Orlov pays a working visit to the Republic of Tatarstan. On 5 December at the Kazan International Airport, the delegation was welcomed by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Zaripov.
The delegation of Arkhangelskaya Oblast comprises Alexey Alsufiyev, Deputy Governor for Infrastructure Development; Andrey Shestakov, Minister of Industry and Trade; Igor Godzish, Minister of Energy and Communications; and representatives of the Regional Centre for Energy Saving in Arkhangelskaya Oblast.
Within their Visit Programme, the delegates are scheduled to visit the IT-Park, Technopolis Himgrad, OAO Zelenodolsk Shipyard, and Universiade 2013 facilities.

On 5 December 2012, within the 14th International Specialised Exhibition “Power Industry. Resource Saving” and the 13th International Symposium “Energy and Resource Efficiency and Energy Saving” being held in Kazan, Kazanskaya Yarmarka hosted the meeting of the Tatarstan Government attended by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov delivered a speech “On the Course of 2012 Implementation of the Long-Term Targeted Programme for Energy Saving and Enhancing Energy Efficiency in the Republic of Tatarstan in 2011-2015 and in the Outlook until 2012”.

On 5 December 2012, OAO Kazanskaya Yarmarka will host the ceremonial opening of the 14th International Specialised Exhibition “Power Industry. Resource Saving” and the 13th International Symposium “Energy and Resource Efficiency and Energy Saving” to be attended by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov.
On 6 December 2012, Kazanskaya Yarmarka will host the Conference entitled “Energy and Resource Saving in the Industry. New Technologies to Enhance Energy and Resource Efficiency in the Production and Transportation of Energy Carriers” (Business Centre, Greater Conference Hall).

On 30 November 2012, Zelenodolsk Shipyard held a ceremonial event dedicated to laying down the Sviyaga transport floating dock (Project 22570) designed by Almaz Central Marine Design Bureau (Saint-Petersburg).
The transport floating dock is a special-purpose vessel designed for transportation of ships and boats, their dock examination, and repairs through shipyard’s facilities.

On 29 November 2012, the Kazan City Hall hosted the award ceremony of the winners of the Republic’s Contest “Best Goods and Services of the Republic of Tatarstan” and All-Russian Contest “100 Best Goods of Russia” 2012. The ceremony was attended by Ildar Khalikov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan; Ravil Zaripov, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan and Chairman of Steering Committee of the “Best Goods and Services of the Republic of Tatarstan” Contest; top officials of the republic’s ministries and agencies; and awardees of the Contests. The republic’s leaders and managers of the Tatarstan enterprises made a tour of the exhibition of the awardees’ goods and services.

On 28 November 2012, Kazan hosted the international events within the 8th Session of the Intergovernmental Committee for Economic, Industrial, Scientific, and Technology Cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Czech Republic.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan held the 2nd Session of the Joint Working Group for Coordination of Trade and Economic Cooperation between the Czech Republic and the Republic of Tatarstan.

On 30 November 2012, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan held a seminar related to the issues of the pension provision. Within the seminar, representatives of the Tatarstan Pension Fund informed the Ministry’s personnel on the main provisions in the Strategy of the Pension System Long-Term Development, explained the procedure for pension calculation, generation and payment of pension accruals.

On 29 November 2012, the Kazan City Hall will host the award ceremony of the winners of the Republic’s Contest “Best Goods and Services of the Republic of Tatarstan” and All-Russian Contest “100 Best Goods of Russia” 2012 held by the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade jointly with FBU “State Regional Centre for Standardisation, Metrology, and Testing in Tatarstan”.

On 28 November 2012, Kazan will host the Plenary Session of the Intergovernmental Committee for Economic, Industrial, Scientific, and Technical Cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Czech Republic. The Session will be attended by Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the Republic of Tatarstan; Igor Slyunyayev, Minister of Regional Development of the Russian Federation; and Martin Kuba, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic. The Session will also bring together representatives of the authorities and business communities of Russia and Czech.
The Programme of the Plenary Session includes:
• The plenary meeting of the Russia-Czech Intergovernmental Committee;
• Signing of the Protocol of the 8th Session of the Russia-Czech Intergovernmental Committee;
• Press briefing.

On 28 November 2012 at 2 p.m., within the events of the 8th Session of the Intergovernmental Committee on Economic, Industrial, Scientific, and Technology Cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Czech Republic, Korston Hotel&Mall (Ball Room) will host the ceremonial opening of the Tatarstan-Czech Business Forum to be attended by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov and Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic Martin Kuba.
The Business Forum includes the signing of bilateral agreements on the cooperation development.
The Programme of the Tatarstan-Czech Business Forum also comprises the B2B meetings between representatives of the Tatarstan and Czech business communities.
