On 25 December 2012, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan held the meeting related to the issues of applying new Regulations of charging and payment of utilisation duty for wheeled vehicles.

The meeting was attended by the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Gulnara Akhmadeyeva, Deputy Head of the Tatarstan Customs on Economic Affairs Dmitry Perfilov, representatives of the republic’s enterprises OAO ElAZ, OAO Aznakaevsky Neftemash, OOO Avtomaster, OOO Avtostar, OAO Kazan Electrical and Mechanical Plant, as well as representatives of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade.

On 25 December 2012, the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Zaripov met with the delegation of Arkhangelskaya Oblast headed by the Deputy Governor of Arkhangelskaya Oblast for Infrastructure Development Alexey Alsufiyev. The delegation comprises the Minister of Industry and Trade Andrey Shestakov and Minister of Construction and Housing of Arkhangelskaya Oblast Igor Voystratenko.
The meeting discussed the promising areas for the interregional cooperation in various fields under the implementation of the Agreement on trade, economic, scientific, technological, social, and cultural cooperation signed on 6 December 2012 by the Republic of Tatarstan and the Government of Arkhangelskaya Oblast during the meeting between the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Governor of Arkhangelskaya Oblast Igor Orlov.

On 24 December 2012, the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan chaired the Final Meeting of the Interdepartmental Working Group for the introduction of Lean production techniques. The Session summarised the performance of the Interdepartmental Working Group in 2012 regarding the introduction of Lean production vehicles and discussed proposals to be included into the agenda of the Working Group for 2013.

Within his working visit to Moscow on 19 to 20 December 2012, the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Zaripov had a meeting with the Russian Deputy Minister of Defence Yury Borisov and Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Gleb Nikitin. The meetings discussed the issues of providing the Tatarstan enterprises with State defense orders, as well as the development prospects of the republic’s machine building industry (including machine tool industry).

The Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Zaripov gives his compliments to all personnel and long-service employees of the power industry on the occasion of their professional holiday and expresses gratitude for their professionalism and commitment to their work.

On 20 December 2012 in Naberezhnye Chelny, within the Programme of the Republic Research and Applied Conference entitled “Development of Machine Building Cluster as a Condition to Enhance Efficiency and Quality of Professional Education”, the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Gulnara Akhmadeyeva delivered the report on the educational aspects of the republic’s Lean Production Project and its interrelation with other production systems.
She emphasised that the integration between the education sector and introduction of efficient production systems is a platform of the long-term targeted programme on the implementation of Lean Production technology adopted in the republic.

The 20th December 2012 saw the ceremonial signing of an Agreement on creating and establishing the Science and Technology Centre in Technopark Skolkovo in the territory of Technopark Skolkovo. The ceremonial event was attended by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the Skolkovo Foundation Viktor Vekselberg, and General Director of OAO Tatneft Shafagat Takhautdinov. Under the Agreement, Tatneft will conduct researches in the area of developing groundbreaking technologies for oil and gas recovery, exploration of oil and gas fields, oil, gas and chemicals processing, resource saving, as well as information technologies.

On 19 December 2012, within the contract on the delivery of medium multipurpose helicopters signed between OAO Rosoboroneksport and Indian Ministry of Defense, the Indian party received another fleet of Mi-17B-5 military transport helicopters. The helicopters are manufactured by OAO Kazan Helicopters, incorporated in Russian Helicopters Holding.

On 19 December 2012, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan held the meeting on previewing results of the implementation of the republic’s targeted programme “Introduction of Lean Production in the Republic of Tatarstan in 2012-2013”. The meeting was attended by the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Gulnara Akhmadeyeva.
The developers presented programmes and investment projects of the enterprises engaged in the programmes of co-funding the introduction of Lean technologies, as well as the results of their implementation.
