On 19 May 2015, Kazan hosted the opening ceremony of the final competition of the 3rd WorldSkills National Championship of Professional Proficiency.
The opening ceremony was attended by Tatarstan Interim President Rustam Minnikhanov, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Government Olga Golodets, and Director General of Union ‘Agency of Development of Professional Communities and Skilled Workers ‘WorldSkills Russia” Robert Urazov.
From 19 to 20 May 2015, the delegation that comprises the officials of the Russian Ministry for Crimean Affairs and the representatives of the Crimean Federal District is on a working trip in Tatarstan. The delegation is headed by Russian Deputy Minister for Crimean Affairs Andrey Sokolov. Within the framework of their stay in Tatarstan, the delegation will have a meeting in the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade.
On 18 May 2015, the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted the meeting dedicated to the voluntary certification by Tatarstan public catering establishments.
The meeting was chaired by Tatarstan Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Rashat Fattakhov and was attended by representatives of the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare in Tatarstan, Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in Tatarstan, Main Veterinary Directorate under the Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers, as well as by heads of Executive Directorate for Sports Projects, Committee for Economic Development and Department of Foodstuffs and Social Catering under the Kazan City Executive Committee, administrations of Kazan districts, ZAO Test Tatarstan, and Association of Restaurateurs and Hoteliers of Kazan and Tatarstan.
On 18 May 2015, the meeting was held between Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov and Consul General of Hungary in Kazan Ferenc Kontra. The meeting was attended by Tatarstan Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Rashat Fattakhov.
From 17 to 18 May 2015, the delegation from Tatarstan headed by Acting Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited Turkey.
On 17 May 2015, during the meeting with representatives of the business community of Denizli Province, Rustam Minnikhanov emphasised that it is necessary to maintain a continuing progress in therelations between Tatarstan and Turkey. The meeting was attended by Turkey Minister of Economy Nihat Zeybekci, Acting Governor of Denizli Province Ekrem Büyükata, Aide to the Tatarstan President Radik Gimatdinov, members of Tatarstan delegation, and representatives of Turkish business community.
On 14 May 2015, SEZ Alabuga hosted the opening ceremony of the Alabuga-Volokno plant. The official ceremony was attended by Acting Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, officials from the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade and Tatarstan ministries and agencies, and representatives of Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation and Composite Holding Company.
On 13 May 2015, the meeting was held between Acting Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and the delegation from the Kurdistan Region (Iraq) headed by the Chairman of the Board of Korek Group Sirwan Barzani. During the meeting, parties discussed promising areas of cooperation between Tatarstan and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
On 13 May 2015, Acting Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov inspected the progress in implementing the construction project of the complex for production ammonia, methanol and granulated carbamide in Mendeleyevsk. He visited several facilities of OAO Ammoni.
On 13 May 2015, the meeting was held between Acting Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and President of Jihostroj Concern Jiri Gerle (the Czech Republic). During the meeting, parties discussed issues of building a plant by Jihostroj Company to manufacture hydraulic equipment at SEZ Alabuga.
On 11 May 2015, the meeting was held between Acting Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Chairman of China National Chemical Engineering Company Yu Jinbo. Parties discussed issues of further cooperation between Tatarstan and China. The meeting was attended by Tatarstan Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Rashat Fattakhov, Aide to the Tatarstan President Rinat Sabirov, top executives of enterprises of the Tatarstan oil and gas sector.
