From 2 to 4 December 2015, Kazan will host the 15th International Specialised Exhibition ‘Mechanical Engineering. Metalworking. Kazan’ and the 10th Specialised Exhibition ‘TechnoWelding’.

On 2 December 2015, an official opening ceremony of both specialised exhibitions will be held with the participation of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.

Within the framework of the specialised exhibitions, the International Subcontract Exchange will be conducted. It is also scheduled to hold regional stages of the Russian professional skill competition among blue-collar workers by the standards of WorldSkills to reveal their expertise in the machine-building jobs.

From 25 to 28 November 2015, the delegation from the Stavropol Krai is having a working trip to Tatarstan. The delegation from the Stavropol Krai comprises Deputy Chairman of the Government and Minister of Economic Development Andrey Murga; Chairman of the Committee for Food and Processing Industry, Trade and Licensing Galina Mironycheva; Minister of Energy, Industry and Communications Vitaly Hotsenko; Deputy Chairman of the Duma Committee on Industry, Energy, Construction, Housing and Utilities Valeriy Chernitsov, heads of Municipal Districts’ Administrations, representatives of ministries and organisations.

Within the framework of the programme, the delegation will visit the Technopolis Himgrad, OAO KAI-Laser, the City Clinic Hospital No.7, the Kazan Agro-Industrial Park, the Educational and Laboratory Campus of the Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology at the Volga Region Federal University and the Regional Engineering Centre of Medical Simulators Eidos. The delegation will be informed about activities of IT-Park, SEZ Alabuga, PAO KAMAZ, KIP-Master, and will visit the Sabinsky District.

The itinerary of the delegation comprises meetings with top executives of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Tatarstan Ministry of Economy, the Tatarstan Ministry of Agriculture and Foodstuff, and the Tatarstan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

On 24 November 2015, Tatarstan Acting Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov attended the meeting between Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov and Head of the Korea-Tatarstan Association Su-Meng Kim.

Tatarstan Prime Minister presented Tatarstan economic opportunities to the Korean delegation. He noted that Tatarstan is one of the major industrial regions of Russia. The most developed sectors are oil production, oil refining, and mechanical engineering. Tatarstan ranks second in Russia for the output of agricultural products.

On 24 November 2015, the Professional Skills Competition has started at the Gorbunov Kazan Aviation Plant, the subsidiary of PAO Tupolev. 

During three days, young employees from all subsidiaries of PAO Tupolev aged up to 27 years will take part in the competition.

Over 60 participants are taking part in the competitions: 16 people from the Moscow office of PAO Tupolev, 36 people from the Gorbunov Kazan Aviation Plant, 4 people from the subsidiary in Ulyanovsk, and a person from Samara.

The mission of the competition is to increase labour productivity, stimulate and develop scientific and technical activities at PAO Tupolev, reveal and encourage talented youth, etc.

The delegation from the Tatarstan headed by Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov attended the 4th International Forum for Energy Saving and Energy Efficiency ENES-2015 that was held in Moscow from 19 to 21 November 2015.

The following republic’s enterprises and organisations presented their exhibitions stands: PAO Tatneft, PAO Nizhnekamskneftekhim, PAO Kazanorgsintez, OAO Kazan Motor-Building Production Association, OAO Generating Company, OAO TGC-16 (Territorial Generating Company), OAO Setevaya (Grid) Company, Kazan Power Engineering University, OOO KER-Engineering, and ZAO Upgradeenergo.

Following the results of the ENES 2015 Forum, the exhibition stands of Tatarstan were distinguished with the diploma of the 4th International Forum on Energy Saving and Energy Efficiency ENES-2015.

On 23 November 2015, the results of the contest ‘Best Manager for Quality 2015’ were summarised at PAO KAMAZ.

The ‘Best Manager for Quality’ contest is being held since 2006. Annually, the contest reveals the most successful managers for quality and promotes experience of the effective management.

Following the results of the contest ‘Best Manager for Quality’ in 2015, the best managers are: Irina Nadezhdina (automotive plant), Aleksandr Kapitonov (the subdivision of Deputy Director General and Development Director), and Yuliya Gerasimova (Department for Quality).

Among heads of the main production plant divisions, the best managers are: Aleksandr Chekh (forging shop), Yevgeniy Kashin (press and frame shop), Novik Baygildin (repair and tool shop). The winners of the contest were awarded with certificates ‘Best Manager for Quality’ and monetary prizes.

On 23 November 2015, Albert Karimov, former Chairman of Board of Directors of OAO Himgrad, is appointed the Tatarstan Acting Minister of Industry and Trade by the Order of the Tatarstan President until his candidacy will be approved by the Tatarstan State Council.

Ravil Zaripov, in turn, appointed the Aide to the Tatarstan President for Aviation Complex.

Ildar Khalikov has thanked Ravil Zaripov, former Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade, for his decent work to the benefit of the republic and the country as a whole.

On 21 November 2015, the Zelenodolsk Palace of Culture hosted the official event dedicated to the 120th Anniversary of the Zelenodolsk Shipyard. The ceremony was attended by Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, representatives of the Russian Ministry of Defence, top officials of the Tatarstan ministries, agencies, machine-building enterprises, and the Zelenodolsk District Administration.

Ildar Khalikov bestowed State Awards of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan to the most distinguished employees of the plant.

From 19 to 20 November 2015, Moscow is hosting the 4th International Forum for Energy Saving and Energy Efficiency ‘ENES 2015’.

The delegation from the Tatarstan headed by Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov is participating in the Forum. A number of enterprises of the Tatarstan energy complex set up their exhibition stands within the framework of ‘ENES 2015’.

On 19 November 2015, following the results of the Republic’s Potential contest (the best work with youth at enterprises and organisations of Tatarstan) the winners were awarded during the Republic’s Working Youth Open Forum.

The contest was held for the first time. The mission of the contest is to enhance the prestige of engineering and blue-collar jobs and implement State youth policies at Tatarstan enterprises and organisations.

The participants of the contest were 24 Tatarstan enterprises in two groups: less than 1000 employees and over 1000 employees.

The prize winners in “Enterprises with less than 1000 employees” are:

Management of OAO Setevaya (Grid) Company ranked 1st;

ZUES PAO Tattelekom (Arsk office) ranked 2nd;

AO Remdiesel ranked 3rd.

The prize winners in “Enterprisers with over 1000 employees” are:

PAO Kazan Helicopters ranked 1st;

OOO Domkor ranked 2nd;

AO TANECO ranked 3rd.
