AO “POZiS” broadens age requirements for talented students wishing to get additional training within the framework of corporate machine-building classes “Engineers of the Future”.
Enterprise`s management has agreed on allowing 9th grade students of Zelenodolsk and Volzhsk (the Republic of Mari El) to join “Engineers of the Future” classes. The corporate project POZIS - “Engineers of the Future” classes – launched in 2012. In 2014, the programme was extended. Same class has appeared in Volzhsk (the Republic of Mari El) as well.
Over 150 students from Zelenodolsk and Volzhsk are currently engaged into studying in these classes. These courses give profound knowledge of Maths, Physics, Descriptive Geometry, Engineering, and Computer Graphics.
Following the results of the last academic year, over 50% of graduate students, who used to attend these machine-building classes, decided to continue their education in technical universities.
On 2 December 2015, the third meeting of the Coordination Council of Tatarstan Mechanical Engineering Enterprises was held in Kazan.
The Coordination Council of Tatarstan Mechanical Engineering Enterprises was created in March 2013 in accordance with the Resolution of the Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers.
According to the Tatarstan President, the decision on creation of the Council was made in time, as the activities of the Coordination Council in preparing proposals for the innovative development strategy, upgrading of the mechanical engineering industry and enterprises are important up to date. “I am pleased to see that the number of participants is growing year by year. Not only our partners from other regions joined us, but also our foreign partners,” – noted the President.
On 2 December 2015, Kazanskaya Yarmarka Exhibition Centre hosted the opening ceremony of the 15th International Specialised Exhibition ‘Mechanical Engineering. Metalworking. Kazan’ and the 10th Specialised Exhibition ‘TechnoWelding’. The exhibitions will be held till 4 December.
The official ceremony was attended by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan Interim Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, Aide to the Tatarstan President on Aviation Complex Ravil Zaripov, Director General of Thuringian Economic Development Agency (Germany) Andreas Krai, etc.
This year over 150 companies, including 133 Russian enterprises from 29 cities, 18 foreign companies from Italy, China, Belarus, the Czech Republic, Latvia, Kazakhstan, as well as representative offices of Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, India, China, France, Finland, the Czech Republic, South Korea and Japan in Russia participated in the exhibitions. The participants displayed machine tools and equipment, components, welding materials, etc.
In his welcome speech, Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized the importance of the event for the whole Volga Region. Andreas Krai, in turn, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to participate in these specialized exhibitions.
During the exhibitions, the International Subcontract Exchange was organized. During the International Subcontract Exchange, 14 companies from Russia and Europe will place their orders for a total amount of RUB 1.3 billion.
From 30 November to 1 December 2015, Moscow hosted the 2nd Russian Forum ‘Light Industry’ that was organized by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The Forum was attended by the representatives of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Tatarstan Union of Entrepreneurs of the Textile and Light Industry, as well as Tatarstan textile enterprises.
Viktor Evtukhov, State Secretary and Russian Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade opened the “Light Industry” Forum. He specified key strategies of the State policies in support and development of the light industry.
The programme of the Forum was devoted to discussion of industry’s topical issues, measures of the State support of promising projects, domestic demand and purchasing power stimulation, creation of favourable conditions and mechanisms for concessional loans and financing of the industry, as well as experience in combating counterfeit goods.
During the Forum, the participants discussed a new development strategy of the light industry development in Russia until 2025.
On 30 November 2015, Tatarstan Acting Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov chaired the organisational meeting dedicated to hosting anniversary mechanical engineering exhibitions and the Coordination Council of the Tatarstan Machine-Building Enterprises in Kazan.
From 2 to 4 December 2015, Kazan will host the 15th International Specialised Exhibition ‘Mechanical Engineering. Metalworking. Kazan’ and the 10th Specialised Exhibition ‘TechnoWelding’.
On 27 November 2015, the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted the meeting between Tatarstan Acting Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry Albert Karimov and the delegation from the Stavropol Krai headed by Minister of Economic Development Andrei Murga.
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects of trade and economic cooperation between Tatarstan and Stavropol Krai.
On 27 November 2015, the meeting in the videoconference format with Tatarstan representatives abroad and in Russian entities was held under the chairmanship of Tatarstan Acting Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Office of the Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers, ministries, agencies, and societal organisations.
During the meeting, issues of the current activities of Tatarstan representative offices in development of trade, economic and investment cooperation, as well as work with compatriots were discussed.
From 25 to 27 November 2015, the delegation from Tatarstan visited the Krasnodar Krai to share experience in implementing technologies of the Lean Production.
On 26 November 2015, the round table discussions dedicated to ‘The Use of Lean Production Technologies to Increase Efficiency of the Economy in Russian Entities’ were held.
The round table discussions were attended by Krasnodar Krai sectoral ministries and municipal entities, representatives of the leading universities, members of societal organisations and unions, and business community.
During the round table discussions, the parties discussed interaction between the non-profit sector and universities, municipalities, societal organisations, business community, schools on development educational products on lean technologies, personnel training with lean attitude for the innovation economy in the Krai and interaction between the authority and business community in implementing lean technologies.
On 27 November 2015, the delegation visited the Kuban AgroHolding in Ust-Labinsky District.
On 26 November 2015, Kazan hosted the field meeting of the State Duma Energy Committee dedicated to the topical issues of the Russian fuel market, as well as implementing the State policies in expanding the use of natural gas as an engine fuel. The meeting was held by Chairman of the State Duma Energy Committee Pavel Zavalny.
The event was attended by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, Russian Deputy Minister of Energy Kirill Molodtsov, Tatarstan Acting Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, and Director General of OOO Gazprom Gas-Engine Fuel Mikhail Lichachev.
Chairman of the State Duma Energy Committee Pavel Zavalny noted that Tatarstan has advanced expertise in the use of gas engine fuel.
From 26 to 27 November 2015, the Kazan State Technical University hosted the Youth Forum ‘Career Days “Autumn 2015”.
The Forum started on 26 November with hosting the Job Fair ‘Autumn 2015’ that was attended by over 40 enterprises and organisations from Tatarstan and Russian nearby entities, as well as representatives of ministries.
The programme included presentation of enterprises, tours of the filling station No.4 of OOO Tatneft-AZS Centre and OAO Radiopribor.
