Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov congratulated employees and long-service employees of Tatarstan energy sector on the Power Engineer’s Day.

Albert Karimov pointed out that energy sector plays an important role in social and economic stability of the republic. Wellbeing of the population and competitiveness of Tatarstan industry depended on efficiency of the energy sector.

On behalf of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade, Albert Karimov thanked employees and long-service employees of the power industry for their conscientious and dedicated service for the benefit of the republic. He wished the engineers and their families new production achievements, good health, stability, and prosperity.

 

On 21 December 2015, 3,000.000 all-steel tyre was produced at Nizhnekamsk All Steel Tyres Plant of TATNEFT.

Up to date, Nizhnekamsk All Steel Tyres Plant produces 66 goods articles for all types of trucks, buses, and semitrailer machinery. 23 of them are produced by the off-take system for the European company, including the premium brand.

The main advantages of KAMA all - steel tyres are continuous operation, environmental friendliness and high speed performance.

Durability, efficiency and environmental friendliness of KAMA all-steel tyres is being confirmed in real conditions on the roads of Russia and abroad. Products of the plant are shipped to 31 countries. The users of KAMA all-steel tyres are KAMAZ, NefAZ, Tonar, major transport enterprises of Russia such as Selta (Magnit), and Mosgortrans.

The quality of products from Nizhnekamsk All Steel Tyres Plant is confirmed by its victories in the competitions “Best Goods and Services of the Republic of Tatarstan” in 2015 and “100 Best Goods of Russia” 2015.

On 21 December 2015, Kazan Thermal Power Station-1 OAO Generiryushchaya (Generating) Company held the ceremony of mounting a memorial plaque marking the beginning of construction of CCGT (combined cycle gas turbine) unit with the capacity of 230 MW. The ceremony was attended by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Russian Deputy Minister of Energy Vyacheslav Kravchenko, Tatarstan Interim Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov.

The power facility of the combined cycle gas turbine unit with the capacity of 230 MW at Kazan Thermal Power Station-1 is the first investment project in the power industry included in the federal “Program of support of investment projects implemented in the territory of the Russian Federation based on project financing”, which provides state guarantees and subsidized loans to projects with high socio-economic importance for the country.

Construction of a modern power plant at Kazan Thermal Power Station-1 with the capacity of 230 MW will reduce the shortage of electric power in Kazan power district, as well maximize the reliability of power supply.

 

Expert Council of the Industry Development Fund on the programme “Import Substitution Projects” approved the innovative project “Production of High-Purity Alumina” of Kama Crystal Technology for the allocation of the loan in the amount of RUB 101.8 million.

Thus, the total amount of loans by republic’s industrial enterprises for this year will amount to over RUB 1.4 billion.

Expert Council of the Fund has approved the project of OOO Paritet on organising the production of children's improved urinals in the amount of RUB 102.4 million.

 

On 21 December 2015, Tatarstan Interim Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov awarded the Certificate of Honour from the Ministry of Industry and Trade to Leading Expert of the Ministry Sergey Alekseev for his fruitful conscientious service.

Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade announced the results of competitive selection of new integrated investment projects in priority sectors of the manufacturing industry.

 

Following the results of the 2nd competition held by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade in the current year, 85 projects, 11 of which are being implemented in Tatarstan, were included to the List of integrated investment projects in priority areas of the civil industry:

 

1.      OOO TNG-Group (Creation of production sites for specialized machinery and geophysical equipment in Bugulma),

2.      OOO Kama Crystal Technology (Production of synthetic sapphire for optoelectronics),

3.      OOO Airon (2nd stage of the project “Production of high-gloss panels”),

4.      OOO InterBusinessGroupEngineering, OAO Kazan Synthetic Rubber Plant - Silicon (2nd project: “Construction of industrial production sites for methylchlorosilanes. The production workshop of pyrogenic silica” and “Construction of a site for industrial production of methylchlorosilanes. The production workshop of methylchlorosilanes”),

5.      OOO Kazan DSK (House-Building Plant) (“Upgrading of production sites for OAO Kazan DSK” (House-Building Plant)),

6.      OOO Bars Technology (“Construction of a plant for the production of automotive batteries at the SEZ Alabuga”)

7.      OOO International Building Systems (“Construction of a plant to produce mullion-transom systems, expanded clay lightweight concrete blocks, concrete and reinforcement”),

8.      OOO TIS (“Production of automotive components: parts and seats for commercial vehicles”),

9.      OOO UK Industrial Park Kamskiye Polyany (“Upgrading of the industrial complex for polymer processing”),

10.  OOO Mefro Wheels Russia (“Creation and upgrading of wheels production sites for trucks and passenger cars”).

 

The winners will be subsidised with 0.7 key rate of the Russian Central Bank for investment loans.

 

The total amount of support for the republic companies will be RUB 8.8 billion.

 

On 18 December 2015, the Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers hosted the awarding ceremony for prize and diploma winners of the 11th Republic`s Contest for Quality Awards of the Tatarstan Government. The event was attended by Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov.

Tatarstan Interim Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov noted that 61 companies had submitted their applications in 2015. The most active enterprises and organisations were those headquartered in Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Almetyevsk, Nizhnekamsk, and Leninogorsk.

Albert Karimov said that, by decision of the Council, a total of 7 organisations became winners of the contest, and 13 organisations were awarded with the diplomas.

 

On 18 December 2015, the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted a meeting between Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Rashat Fattakhov and the delegation of the Perm Krai headed by Perm Krai Minister of Economic Development Leonid Morozov.

The delegation of the Perm Krai was composed of the representatives of OOO UK Gipsopolimer and GP Perm Pulp-and-Paper Company.

During the meeting, the parties made respective presentations of both regions. The meeting also dealt with the development issues of trade and economic cooperation between the regions.

During their visit to Tatarstan, the delegation of the Perm Krai made a tour of some Tatarstan enterprises.

 

On 18 December 2015, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov participated in the second day of the Forum “The Discovery of Talent” that was held in the Residence of Creative Industry “Shtab”. The third plenary session of the Expert Forum was also attended by Chief of the President`s Office Asgat Safarov, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, Tatarstan Minister of Education and Science Engel Fattakhov, Tatarstan Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov, Tatarstan Minister of Youth Affairs and Sport Vladimir Leonov, Head of the Republic’s Agency for Press and Mass Communications Ayrat Zaripov, university principals, and others.

Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized: “We have been reforming an educational sector for ten years. Special attention is paid to IT sector and technical clubs. We want to cultivate love for engineering sciences. We have all conditions for that: special educational establishments, basic schools of enterprises that are working for the aviation complex”.

The forum was held at five venues. Following the results of the first day, the forum was attended by over 4,000 people.

 

On 17 December 2015, Interim Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov chaired the meeting of the working group on raising the level of the Nizhnekamsk Reservoir to the design level.

The meeting was attended by representatives of republic’s administrations of the federal authorities, ministries, agencies, and enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The participants of the meeting discussed the plan of the working group on further activities on raising level of the Nizhnekamsk Reservoir, and identified promising areas for joint activities with the federal authorities and Russian entities that are under the influence of the Nizhnekamsk Reservoir.
