On March 31, the Lyceum with Extensive Learning of Chemistry for Gifted Children under the Kazan National Research Technological University (KNITU-KHTI) had an Open Day. More than 100 schoolchildren in Tatarstan (from Kazan, Zelenodolsk District, Naberezhnye Chelny and other cities and districts) took part in the first round of the competitive selection for the 2017-2018 schoolyear.
On March 31, the Gorky Centre for Culture, Fine and Folk Arts hosted a ceremony of honouring the employees of the Zelenodolsk Shipyard (the company belongs to the group of Ak Bars Holding Company) who won the high awards of the 17th All-Russian Engineer of the Year 2016 competition and the employees who made a significant contribution to the development of invention and innovation activities at the enterprise.
The Federal Tax Service of Russia maintaining the register of fiscal storage devices in accordance with Article 3 of the Federal Law No. 54-FZ dated May 22, 2003 “On the Application of Cash Register Equipment in Settlements in Cash and/or via Electronic Means of Payment”, has expanded the register of fiscal storage devices.
According to the orders of the Federal Tax Service of Russia No. ED-7-20/267 of 30.03.2017 and No. ED-7-20/268 of 30.03.2017, two models of fiscal storage devices were additionally included in the register. Thus, the register currently comprises the following models:
- Ciphering (cryptographic) agent for fiscal data protection: FN-1 (Fiscal Storage Device), manufacturer OOO RIK;
- Cryptographic security agent for fiscal data protection: FN-1 build 3 version 1, manufacturer OOO NTTs Izmeritel;
- Cryptographic security agent for fiscal data protection: FN-1 build 3 version 2, manufacturer OOO Pragmatik.

Today, the meeting of the Intergovernmental Committee to Combat Illicit Trafficking of Industrial Products in Tatarstan was held under the chairmanship of Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov.
During the meeting, the participants discussed the introduction of a system for tracing the originality, movement, and location of manufactured goods for the enterprises of Tatarstan, as well as the issues of security and protection of intellectual property rights for the commodity producers in the Republic of Tatarstan.
Topical issues and problems of security and protection of intellectual property for the commodity producers in Tatarstan were highlighted by the Head of the Legal Department at the Intellect and Law Legal Bureau Adel Islamov.
Summing up the meeting, Albert Karimov proposed to hold a seminar for enterprises, where participants would be able to discuss the introduction of present-day methods for determining the movement and authenticity of goods, as well as the protection of intellectual property rights.
Today, the House of Tatarstan Government saw the meeting between Prime Minister of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov and Director General of OOO Gemont (Turkey) Muhittin Aktas. The event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov.
Welcoming the guests, Ildar Khalikov noted that for the Republic of Tatarstan, Turkey is a strategic partner. Last year the relevant foreign trade turnover exceeded $ 200 million.
The Tatarstan Prime Minister stressed that earlier Gemont had proved itself well in Tatarstan. He thanked Mr. Aktas for his cooperation with TAIF-NK and extensive amount of the completed construction and assembly jobs for the Heavy Residue Conversion Complex project in the city of Nizhnekamsk.
Then the participants to the meeting discussed the further ways for developing cooperation between the parties. In particular, Muhittin Aktas presented a project of establishing a metallurgical complex in the republic for the production of flat rolled products.
From March 30 to April 1, the Republic of Tatarstan hosted a delegation of the Altai Krai headed by Deputy Chairman of the Altai Krai Government and its Minister of Economic Development Nikolai Chinyakov. The delegation comprised representatives of executive authorities and enterprises of the Altai Krai.
The purpose of the visit is to study the expertise of Tatarstan in such areas as investment attraction, cluster policies, business development, HR management, forestry, tourism, as well as the establishment of bilateral contacts between the enterprises.
On March 30, the delegation had a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov. The meeting was also attended by representatives of the republic’s companies such as Tatneft, Tatenergo, Nizhnekamskneftekhim, Ak Bars Region, Bakhetle, Optovik, the Kama Innovation and Territorial Cluster, and the Machine-Building Cluster of Tatarstan.
During the meeting, Minister Albert Karimov dwelled on the existing potential between the regions. The parties outlined the promising areas for cooperation, which will be given a more detailed consideration in future activities.
Today on March 30, the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted a meeting between Tatarstan Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Almaz Khusainov and Deputy Director of the Russian Industrial Development Fund (IDF) Sergey Vologodsky. The event was attended by officials in charge of the Ministry's sectoral areas.
During the event, Sergei Vologodsky described the Fund's activities and dwelled upon the specifics of the applications from Tatarstan. According to his words, the IDF offers support within the framework of 4 programmes with the loan amount of RUB 50 to RUB 500 million: Development Projects, Consortium Projects, Leasing Projects, and Establishment of Mass Production of Tools and Machinery.
At the end of the meeting, Almaz Khusainov presented Sergey Vologodsky with a letter of gratitude from the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan for his conscientious labour and active work on implementing integrated investment projects in the priority areas of the Tatarstan's civil industry.
On March 30, the Lenin House of Culture saw a ceremonial event dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Youth Union at Kazan Helicopters. The ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Almaz Khusainov and Deputy Director of the Industrial Development Foundation Sergei Vologodsky.
At the event, representatives of the company’s youth were honoured with the awards from the United Aircraft Corporation, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan and the Ministry for Youth and Sports of Tatarstan.
The event ended with a concert programme featuring bright performances by young company’s employees.
The Kazan Helicopters Youth Union (ZSM), established in 1992 on the initiative of the company’s youth activists, is called upon to solve the retention problem of young people, to create conditions for their successful socialisation, effective self-actualisation, and to foster the talent pool formation at the enterprise.
These days, the delegation of the South African Embassy headed by Minister-Counsellor Moloko Leshaba is paying a visit to the Republic of Tatarstan. In the course of their programme, the African guests visited the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Guests from the RSA were presented the industrial potential of Tatarstan. In particular, they were given a detailed information about major enterprises such as Tatneft and TAIF, KAMAZ, Ford Sollers, Kazan Helicopter Plant, Gorbunov Kazan Aircraft Plant, Zelenodolsk Shipyard, ElAZ, KMPO, Kazankompressormash, etc. In addition, the parties discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation.
Note that effective from today, a visa-free travel has been introduced between Russia and the RSA. This simplified entry procedure will apply to a short stay in the respective countries for up to 90 days. It is expected that the visa-free regime between Russia and South Africa will promote the development of economic ties and tourism between the two countries.On March 30, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan hosted a meeting between the officials from the Ministry and representatives of the Free State of Thuringia.
The event comprised a presentation of the trade, economic and industrial potential of the Republic of Tatarstan. In particular, the guests were given a detailed briefing about the activities of the leading enterprises in the oil, gas, chemical and mechanical engineering sectors of the republic.
The parties also discussed the mechanisms and prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation.
The Republic of Tatarstan has been actively cooperating with the Free State of Thuringia, which includes numerous reciprocal visits.
