Opening the Centre, Andrei Svinarenko noted that Tatarstan is one of the few regions in the Russian Federation that have its own programme for nanoindustry development and is a leader in the output of manufactured nanotechnology products.
Based on this Centre, it is planned to conduct professional examinations, which would allow establishing a correspondence between the skill level of experts in the field of nanoindustry and the requirements of professional standards. For the time being, it is possible to improve qualifications in two areas: an expert in the field of composite materials production control and an expert in the field of process-tested products. One more polymer-related area is scheduled for the introduction by the autumn. The first company to use the services of the new qualification centre will be Tatneft.
