A delegation from the Ministry of National Defence of the Republic of Vietnam arrived in Kazan on a working visit. Discussions between foreign guests and experts of the Russian Helicopters holding were held on the premises of the Kazan Helicopters (part of the Russian Helicopters holding of the Rostec Corporation). The main purpose of their visit was to discuss the delivery of civilian helicopter equipment to Vietnam.

The delegation was particularly interested in the Ansat and Mi-17V-5 helicopters. The flight test complex of the factory held demonstration flights of helicopters, during which the participants of the delegation were able to assess their maneuverability and flight performance, both from the ground and inside the cabin.

Representatives of the Vietnam Ministry of National Defence studied the main production facilities of the Kazan Helicopters. During their two-day visit to Kazan, the guests were shown the assembly sites of units and fuselages for Mi-8/17, Ansat, and Mi-38 helicopters. Members of the delegation also visited the large-series section in the final assembly shop for Mi-8MTV-1 and Mi-17V-5 helicopters and the small-series section for the assembly of Ansat helicopters.
