Today, people’s deputies, representatives of ministries and agencies, municipalities and businesses of the republic were brought together for a round table discussion in Laishevo to spoke about the development prospects of municipal industrial sites.
Before the meeting, the round table participants visited the production facilities opened at the industrial sites of Sokury and Ferex-Laishevo. The Sokury site occupies 21 hectares and accommodates 11 enterprises of 9 residents.
A report on the topic “On the Development of Industrial Enterprises at the Laishevo Municipal District of the Republic of Tatarstan” was presented by Acting Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Almaz Khusainov.
Industrial parks, special economic zones, technology parks, and business incubators have been successfully developing in the republic for more than 10 years. According to First Deputy Minister of Economy and Director of the Enterprise Development Department Rustem Sibagatullin, over 33,000 people are currently employed at resident enterprises. The sales of products manufactured by the end of 2016 amounted to RUR 167.5 billion (8.5% of the republic’s total industrial output).
Residents of industrial sites also had their say during the round table discussions. Many of them spoke about the need for further state support of this form of work with businesses.
