The Aviation Training Centre (ATC) of Kazan Helicopters, the first of five training centres for the Russian Helicopters Holding (part of Rostec Corporation), successfully passed the certification procedure for the new Federal Aviation Regulations No. 289, which entered into force on July 1, 2016. This Certificate allows the training of pilots, technicians, and engineers in flight and technical operation of civil aircraft. The Certificate and its annexes approved by the Federal Agency for Air Transport (Rosaviatsiya) certify that the Kazan ATC complies with the requirements for educational organisations that train the civil aviation personnel. The validity of the Certificate is unlimited.
The Certificate for compliance with the new Federal Aviation Regulations confirms the utmost competence of the Kazan ATC experts and means that the organisation is capable of providing educational services in accordance with the list of authorised training programmes for aviation personnel, including training in Helicopter and Engine and Aviation and Radio-Electronic Equipment courses, as well as in the maintenance programme for civil helicopters Ansat, Mi-8MTV, and their modifications.
The Aviation Training Centre of the Kazan Helicopters was established in 1995. For over 20 years of its history, about 9,000 professionals have been trained here.
