Today, Secondary School No.28 in the Nizhnekamsk Municipal District of Tatarstan held an ecological lesson “Environment, Industry, City” dedicated to the Year of Ecology in Russia and the Year of Public Spaces in Tatarstan.
Ninth-grade pupils visited today an unusual ecology lesson. It was conducted by teachers of the Children's Centre for Environment & Biology and the students from the Ekograd scientific society. The expert roles were taken on by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov and Mayor of Nizhnekamsk Aydar Metshin.
In addition, children from School No. 28 had a great opportunity to learn about the environmental performance of enterprises from top officials of the republic and the city, and they gladly took it.
Questions were also asked to Albert Karimov, the most interesting ones being what education to get, how not to go wrong when choosing a future profession for those who want to dedicate their lives to manufacturing industry. The Minister replied that now there are quite enough accountants, economists, and financiers, but the engineering professionals are in great need, especially those at production facilities where machines are increasingly sophisticated.
The meeting was held in a very warm and positive atmosphere.
