Yesterday, the Kazan Kremlin hosted a meeting between Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Hungary’s Minister of National Development Miklós Seszták. The event was also attended by Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, Tatarstan Minister of Transport and Roads Lenar Safin, and others.
In his speech, the President of Tatarstan expressed his gratitude to the leaders of Russia and Hungary for their attention to the development of interregional cooperation.
According to Rustam Minnikhanov, a participation of Hungarian investors in the construction project of Agromir Kazan wholesale and distribution centre can become an example of successful Tatarstan-Hungarian cooperation.
Among other promising areas of cooperation, Rustam Minnikhanov noted petrochemicals, mechanical engineering, automotive engineering and automotive components, interaction in the field of medical and pharmaceutical industries, agriculture and foods, tourism and education, such as student exchange programmes.
