1 March 2017, Wednesday

Jointly with the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Russian Export Centre (REC) formed a programme to support the export activities in the industry.

Head of the REC Group Pyotr Fradkov presented more details about the programme during the round table discussion entitled “The Diversification of Defence Industry Complex and Regional Development: A Strategy for Change” with the participation of Russia's Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.

The defence industry enterprises, which recently entered foreign markets, can participate in business missions, key international trade fairs and conferences. A comprehensive programme has been formed that includes about 30 events in 2017-2018, which would result in supporting at least 50 enterprises of the industry at the international exhibitions and fairs in 2017.

In addition, the REC in cooperation with the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Rostec Corporation, and the Central Research Institute Tsentr, is carrying out market research aimed at identifying the promising foreign markets for the civilian goods manufactured by defence industry enterprises.
