KAMAZ (part of the Rostec Corporation) summed up the year in the field of invention and innovation.

According to the Bureau for Patents, Licenses and Rationalisation of the KAMAZ Scientific and Technical Centre of the company, a total of 10 patents was obtained in 2016 for inventions, of which three Eurasian ones (for the first time ever), 44 utility model patents, and one industrial design patent. One computer programme was registered as a copyright-protected item. Eleven certificates were received in 2016 for trademarks registered in Russia and abroad.

In addition, eight applications for inventions were sent by KAMAZ to the main country’s patent office in the past year, 60 applications for utility models, three for industrial design, and one for a computer program. Five applications were also filed for registration of trademarks within the Russian Federation, and some other applications, for registration of trademarks abroad.

As can be seen from the above, the protection of intellectual property by KAMAZ remains one of its priorities.
