On 22 November 2016, the jubilee 10,000th Mercedes-Benz truck was assembled at the Russian-German joint Daimler Kamaz Rus.
Daimler AG and PAO Kamaz (a part of Rostec State Corporation) each own 50% shares of Daimler Kamaz Rus. During its 6-year-existence, the joint enterprise manufactured some 10,000 Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Its production facilities allow manufacturing 3,000 Fuso vehicles in the single shift mode and up to 6,000 Mercedes-Benz vehicles in the three shift mode. The total area is 33,000 square metres, including a warehouse (9,000 square meters), production premises (22,000 square meters), offices and education centre (1.5 square meters).
