Ildar Khalikov chaired meeting on general aviation development

On 12 August 2016, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov chaired the meeting on general aviation development. The event was held within the I Opt for the Sky Air Show that was held at the Kurkachi airfield in the Vysokogorsky District of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The meeting was attended by Aide to the Russian President Igor Levitin, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, Aide to the Tatarstan President Ravil Zaripov, top executives of Tatarstan aviation enterprises, and others.

Ildar Khalikov noted that to date aviation plays a significant role in social and economic development of the republic.

Tatarstan Prime Minister added that one of the serous areas in Tatarstan implemented to date by order of the Russian Ministry of Defence is preparation of a new unmanned aircraft with high capacity.

According to Tatarstan Prime Minister, Tatarstan also pays great attention to military and patriotic education of youth, development of aviation, technical, and military applied sports, and training of field-oriented experts.

Igor Levitin, in turn, reminded that in June 2016 Vladimir Putin adopted a decision to reorganise the Commission under the Russian President for the Development of General Aviation.

Further other participants of the meeting made their suggestions and gave their ideas on development of the general aviation.
