Today, on 16 June, the Tatarstan delegation headed by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in the 20th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, being a part of the Tatarstan delegation, represents the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The forum will be attended by representatives of over 500 foreign companies from 60 countries, particularly, from the USA, France, Switzerland, Japan, the Great Britain, Germany, Italy, Finland, China, Denmark, and other countries, as well as representatives of 600 Russian companies, including representatives of regional and municipal authorities, and major enterprises.
Within the framework of the forum, it is scheduled to hold meetings between members of the Tatarstan delegation and representatives of PricewaterhouseCoopers, MSD, General Electric, as well as top executives of the Union of Chinese Entrepreneurs in Russia and governors of Russian regions, such as the Altai Krai and the Leningrad Oblast.
Furthermore, the presentation of results of the national rating of the investment climate in constituent entities of the Russian Federation will be held during the forum.
