On 26 April 2016, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov participated in the meeting between Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Ireland to the Russian Federation Adrian McDaid.
During the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov expressed his gratitude to Irish colleagues for their interest in the 16th Russian Venture Fair and the 11th Kazan Venture Fair that will start on 27 April 2016.
According to Rustam Minnikhanov, cooperation between Ireland and Tatarstan can be mutually beneficial in high technologies, innovations, IT, electronics, pharmaceutics, and agriculture.
In turn, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Ireland to the Russian Federation Adrian McDaid stated that he attaches great importance to cooperation development between Ireland and Russia. He noted that the Irish delegation arrived to Kazan both to participate in the 16th Russian Venture Fair and the 11th Kazan Venture Fair and study opportunities for cooperation development in various areas.
