Agreement on LNG complex and cryogenic petrol stations signed in Tatarstan

On 22 December 2015, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov participated in the meeting of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with Gazprom Gas Fuel Company.

The agreement on the construction of the LNG complex and a network of cryogenic petrol stations in Tatarstan was signed by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov and Director General of Gazprom Gas Fuel Mikhail Likhachyov.

Tatarstan is the first region in Russia to acquire the infrastructure for the production and sales of the liquefied natural gas (LNG) as a motor fuel.

Construction of a LNG complex infrastructure is planned to be assigned the investment project status.
