Russian Helicopters continues to supply Russian Ministry of Defence with Mi-8MTV-5-1

During the single day of military products' acceptance, which was held in the National Defence Control Centre in Moscow, Russian Helicopters transferred the latest batch of the new Mi-8MTV-5-1 military transport helicopters to the Russian Ministry of Defence. These helicopters were constructed at Kazan Helicopters. Russian Minister of Defence and General of the Army Sergey Shoygu accepted the military products. The official ceremony of transferring the batch of new helicopters by Kazan Helicopters was held in the video format.

The new Mi-8MTV-5-1 helicopters that were delivered to the Russian Ministry of Defence underwent all the necessary tests and were accepted by the customer. Mi-8MTV-5-1 military transport helicopters belong to the famous Mi-8/17 family. These helicopters are constructed to freight and equipment lift with the weight up to 4 tones. These helicopters can also be equipped with missile and gun armament. The Mi-8MTV-5 helicopters and their export version Mi-17V-5 are successfully used by military forces of various countries.
